“
The food was not the greatest, but it wasn't the worst. The lighting is very dim and the service was average as well as the price. I probably wouldn't go back.”
“I had the unfortunate experience of attending a holiday event here. There were potato skins, really mushy and icky wings, and some other stuff. I just couldn't believe they could screw up wings so badly. The Tyson's frozen ones are supreme compared to this place. It's awful, smelly and icky. I shall never return.
”
“I ordered the fish n' chips and found the fish to be flaky, tender and tastey and chips were golden brown. Best Fish n' chips in SF; you pay for what you get.”
“I can see this is probably a good place for happy hour and maybe some apps. I tried the fish and chips (Cod) and the fish may be some of the worst i've ever had. The chips were good---and they had brown gravy---mmmm...perfect. The coleslaw was 99% mayo and the fish was 99% batter and WAY overcooked...awful.FOr a "british' style place either take off the fish and chips OR learn how to make it!”
“You want to pretend you are in a dungeon, step inside! It's very dark and cramped. It has the usual bar-type fried foods. It's a fun place to go for happy hour if you're in a castle-basement type mood.”
“This is a good place for drinks after work. The drinking snacks are pretty good. Something for the kitchen to consider--When more than half a head of lettuce is wilted and needs to be tossed--The other half has no business being on a plate, as it will taste like dirt. Literally, just like soil. Not good. ”
“Very mediocre food, I wouldn't eat here again. I can get heated up frozen strings beans at home for a lot less money. The bar seems pretty popular with the after work crowd.”
