| “ went here for brunch on a saturday about noon. the food was not greasy at all. i had a veggie omlette, hash browns and toast. the hash browns were very crispy, the vegetables in the omlette were crisp as well. everything was done very well. service was fast and pleasant. the waitstaff all worked together to make sure things were brought to each table efficiently. i was actually really pleased with the place. ”

| “ After 16 hours with a change of planes in Atlanta, I refused to touch airline food for at least the next millennium! So, what’s open around the Richmond on the way home? The place by the Muni yard, yeah! That’s the place! It’s only been here since the 49ers, and the dirty greasy filmed windows prove it! Well, it’s better than Mels,.. After just eating in Rome and Barcelona, no matter what I ordered wouldn’t matter, it was only something to fill my stomach. Guess what, I woke up the next day and did not have a stomach ache, or the next day either, so, maybe just maybe, the cheeseburger and fries I ordered were fresh for some reason, hey it’s diner food. It’s open 24 hours a day and it was packed at 12:30 am! Menu, diner food, Service, diner attitude, Prices cheap considering the load of fries on the plate, Gourmet items, yoza gotta be kiddin me? Better than Jack in the Box, YES, unless someone knows a better joint at 2 or 3 in the morning this is ok, ……. ”

| “ I went to the Lucky Penny last night and feel an awful stomach ache today. I had one of their omelettes. I noticed several rats outside but didn't see anything too dirty inside, a little dirty. I just wanted to post this because I had an awful experience there, I'm going to find another 24 hour restaurant. I vomited several times and the waitress there was rude. I gave a penny tip because her service was so awful, and she threw it at me on the way out and yelled, but I wouldn't have posted the review if I hadn't felt so sick today, I had to call in sick and that's all I ate yesterday except for 2 slimfasts so I know it is something I ate their, food poisoning. ”

| “ The more I eat here the less I like it...I had a corned beef sandwich which were great in the past and it was tough and gristly. I used to like breakfast here a lot but now its pretty average. Roast beef is a little bland and the veggies are the awful canned variety. I still appreciate no cell phones allowed, but I think I will try somewhere else. ”
