I work pretty close to this place and must admit - I grab a slice of pepperoni there at least once a week. Bad girl! Can't help it, it is that kind of big, greasy slice of pizza that reminds me of college bar hopping. Review #20264

I like Blondie's pizza. I'm glad it's still in business all these years ... and it should be because they really do have a good pizza at a reasonable prices. Over the years, the place added downstairs so their customers actually have a place to sit. Back in the days, you only stand and that kind of sucks if you happen to be carrying a lot of shopping bags. Review #20104

It took me years before I could bring myself to go in and actually order a pizza. I would walk up to the door, then turn around and go somewhere else. They use cheeses that you can smell a mile away. It tastes okay, but a little on the doughy side. Good if you really need cheap pizza. Review #15618

Without a doubt the best place to grab huge slice SF Market St. style. Sure all the employees are covered in tattoos and piercing's, but they make a hell of a slice. They are located just feet from where the cable car makes it's turn by Market St. Ladies hold on to your purses and men go ahead and put your wallet in your front pocket- then head over to Blondies for an epic slice of pie. Great place to make a deposit in the karma account by buying on of the 50 or so homeless folks (that are always around) a slice and a coke.... Review #15471

Not being a fan of eating hard cardboard crusts, Blondie's is a nice find. There is a lot of chewy soft crust, so if that isn't to your taste, you may not be happy here. I'd actually like them to go a wee bit thinner on the crust, but not much. I like a pizza that can stay up when I pick it up and Blondie's does. Not crazy about their toppings for the veggie pizza, but it is passable when the smell sucks you in. Stand up or go downstairs and sit. Service is fast, fast, fast. Review #15366

I was excited to hear that lunch was coming from Blondie's pizza. Imagine the scene, I'm in a business meeting, were getting ready to break for lunch and we can smell the pizza that's waiting in the adjacent room. I'm starting to salivate because of delicious pizza smells. The doors open, forget the plates, I'm going for the pepperoni. It looked fantastic, smelled fantastic, but wasn't. I think it comes down to the cheese; my pizza was more like 90% crust 9% cheese & 1% sauce & pepperoni. All in all that did not stop me from eating four huge slices. Area for improvement: More cheese, my suggestion would be to double the amount normally used. I'll have to give them a try again, all these other people can't be wrong; it must have been an off day. A complete whole in the wall but best pizza I have ever eaten hands down. Really. Cheap and good. Stand up and eat your stuff. Or take a whole pie to go. I once told a Chicago visitor to go there and he did one night and then told me it was very nice pizza. He was very pleasantly surprised. I must go back there again. Review #13715

Back in the early 90's Blondies was on point with their pizza. Huge slices, great price, tasty crust, fresh toppings. I'm sure alot of people remember... before Razputin music and Gap were there. Before they remodeled, before they had a downstairs. Ahhh.. those were the days.

Now, their slices are about 25% smaller and the crust taste like cardboard. What happened Blondies!!!

It's pretty tasty. Probably gets a little more hype than it deserves, but it IS good. Sometimes you have to stand and eat if the downstairs is closed, which can be difficult with a rather large slice of pizza to tackle. Review #8657

I did a little shopping downtown today and for whatever reason, thought, "I could really go for a slice from Blondie's." What was I thinking!?! This is terrible pizza. Actually, if you're into the high school cafeteria style slice, with the really fluffy crust, then maybe this isn't so bad. Personally, I think you ought to be able to fold a slice of pizza in half without the crust ripping. Blondie's is also always crowded and they don't put out any napkins. WTF? Review #4298

Fast, filling, and good walk-up order-by-the-slice pizza. They also provide salads and other finger foods (chicken wings, fries, etc.) Beer served as wel. This has to be one of the cheapest places in that area (just 3 blocks from Union Sq.) They also get two thumbs up for providing both recycling AND compost bins. Review #1701

My husband loves pizza, but i love hitting up Blondie's for their salads. For those who know Intermezzo in Berkeley, Blondies has matched their big salad. For $6 you get heaping organic greens and tons of veggies from avo to beans, with a thick yummy slice of honey wheat bread. delicious! They also make a smaller, but still good sized salad for less.
