“ We weren't too sure when we walked in and we were the only ones there, but by the time we left, we were very well fed and it was crowded. We all tried different things and it was all delicious- especially the yuca al mojo! ”

“ Very local sit-down Puerto Rican/cuban place. This is viejo, not "nuevo" latino - the real thing, and you won't find any fusion bullshit. Warm atmosphere. Good tamarindo agua fresca-style drink. Excellent chuletas (pork chops) and ropa vieja, great black beans. The next table over recommended the vaca frita -- I'll try that next time. at least 3 1/2 stars - I'm going back soon. ”

“ This place is really good, small restaurant. But worth trying. There "Shake" drinks are good, try the guanbana, they also have this side item, I can't remember what they are called it is basically meat rolled in potato then fried, you have to try it! ”

“ this mission spot is easy to confuse with the neuvo latino movement...it is classic puerto rican/cuban style food...nice straight forward food good prices and a great break on 24th from the endless papusa burrito ghetto! ”
