This is the place to come for a cheap brunch with your girlfriends after a long night. A bit loud and crowded for all the lurid details, but there's not much better for detox than their potatoes and omelettes. My one concern is that at times the omelette choices seem constricting-- make it easier for me to build my own! I always feel that the sole surveyor of the omelette should be its consumer. Nice, laid-back atmosphere, and good food. I have had salads of all sorts, all of which were fresh. And the apple and cheddar crepe was delicious. Prices are definitely affordable, which is nice. I've only been in the afternoon/evening, so I would like to try brunch there sometime. Review #11740

For the price, splendid. Good place for Sunday brunch. If you can, sit out on the patio. Cool murals and shade. I had the #6 bagel with mozzerella and bruschetta, which was very tasty. Also had my eye on the salsa crepe, which I intend to have the next time I'm in the neighborhood. The wait wasn't too long, even for an extremely busy time. Friendly staff, good food, very filling. Decent but not spectacular. The fare is consistent at least and the wait not as long as Pork Store so if you are in a bit more of a time crunch. The breakfast items are decent if not memorable and the service equally undistinguished. They do offer daily specials but they seem to be the same for weeks. It would be nice to see a greater variety of specials to tip the scales a bit more in their favor. Review #10682

What do you think of when you hear the name? Perhaps somebody squating over the ground frantically shoveling food into their mouth? Anyway, this place is pretty good. Nice casual place for brunch, lunch, or dessert and there's a nice patio out back. The homefries are delicious - nice and crispy just the way I like em! The eggs florentine, strawberry nutella crepe, and eggplant sandwich are some of my favs. Review #8301

Crepes are good. Sometimes it's nice to order one with fewer ingredients so the glory of crepedom shines through. Potatoes sometimes dry. They should take a lesson from All You Knead and add sour cream and cheese and salsa. That's some home fries. Review #7859

I'm underwhelmed by this place. It seems the menu is inspired by a need for variety and representative cuisines (italian, greek, California, yadda yadda), rather than taste. The crepes are enormous, relatively flavorless and *soggy*. Great patio, though. Review #7743

Good coffeehouse/sandwich shop type joint. They are known for their crepes which are overstuffed and decent but not grand. Sandwiches are good, breakfest is good as well. Nothing to rave about, but very solid fare. Note: great coffeecake. Review #7074

Great breakfast spot on the Haight. I love the savory crepes and the eggs benedict. The back patio is great for brunch on a sunny day. Review #4762

Pretty reliable SF eatery, which seems to be growing into a chain in it's own right. Decent breakfasts, crepes, and lunch staples. Indifferent service, but food is consistent. Pleasantly surprised by their sweet crepes for dessert, which is good option if you find youself in the Haight later in the evening. When the weather is nice, check out the back patio. Review #3007
