“ So I'm an outlier here. I truly enjoy this restaurant. Short on atmosphere but I've had extraordinary fresh pasta, great service, and good wines. Once there I asked the waiter to recommend a wine that would go with the myriad of dishes being served at our table for 3, his suggestion was one of the lowest priced wines on the list. I find that honorable. ”

“ Cute little place that didn't live up to my expectations. Since Vivande bills itself as a wine bar as well as a restaurant, I was hoping the wine list would be solid...it was, mediocre. The Sangiovese and the Chianti were disappointing ordered 2 apps which were following the mediocre trend...wasn't going to waste time on an entree. Nice staff and could have potential, but I won't be back. ”

“ Only had some wine and snacks but wasn't impressed with either. It was definetly over priced for what it was. I am unlikely to go back to try thr full dinner---especially when Jackson-Fillmore is just a couple blocks away. ”

“ I'd heard good things, but Vivande didn't live up to the hype. At least on the evening I was there the food was decent, the service was dreadful and the prices are high. You're paying for the pretty interior only. ”
