Angela brought me here for lunch; I ordered the thin crust pepperoni pizza. It was absolutely delicious. All the ingredients had lots of flavor “more the usual”; it must be there top shelf ingredients. I would need to eat two or three pizzas to be really full. Why? Because the thin crust is really thin, so bring the gourmet palette and enjoy. This is definitely in my “top 5 most favorite pizza places”. Parking is tricky in this area, at 8:00 PM the bus zone is open. That's my Outer Richmond parking trick. :-) Review #20306

If you know Wayne, you know he is crazy about pizza. Finally I got him over there for lunch, noonish - no waiting. The tiny little place has the feel of a secret portal to a small town in Italy. Serve yourself glass and flatware and tell the lovely lady behind the bar what you want and she'll bring it. I can see how this could be seen as rude to customers who are accustomed to being served, what might be helpful is for the restaurant to post some directions or write something charming on the menu to describe “how things work.” I did not find the service rude at all, just a different set up. The pizza is very close to the pizza I had in Italy, thin crust, light on the toppings and personal size. I had the cheese salad ($8.75) and a Bismark pizza ($13.75), which is a pizza with an egg on top, along with the egg were peppers, lamb sausage and cheese, yum! Portions were bigger than expected, I could not finish what I ordered. It's charming and I would like to return often. Enjoy! Review #20251

I love Pizzetta's! A girlfriend took me to this small mom-and-pop cafe, which has a small menu with absolutely tasty thin crusted pizza at reasonable prices The cheese and salad platter is also very good. It's always nice to sit outside, drink wine, and indulge. Review #17622

Good things come in small packages I guess. Great taste but eat before you get here. And never count on delivery, as they have chosen not to dedicate a delivery person on busy nights. Oh well...go there on a quiet afternoon weekday and you will love their California style pizza Review #17199

After being shafted on a pizza delivery, we had the cravings for pizza even more! Now we were on a mission! So we all piled in the car and now our challenge is to find a parking space in a sea of none! After circling the block for 15 minutes we jumped out and left the martyr going around the block to find a spot and join us. The first thing you notice are the rude, unfriendly and surly staff! Just like New York! ( I love it!) The combo pizza was fantastic, crust perfect, no overly carbon spots, the anchovies were fresh, not all mushy and the cheese actually had taste! Now if they only delivered this would be the perfect place. A tad on the pricey side, but considering the quality, no problem, the place is also packed and figure on sharing a table maybe, the service as I mentioned was curt, but hey, they are not there to make friends, just made a damn good pizza. We will return, if we ever figure out where to park Review #15377

after I completely messed up our home cooked dinner, we chucked it into the garbage (yes, it was that bad) and went to pizzetta 211 for a heavenly delight. I'm not sure if it tasted so darn good only because of the comparison to my awful food. I think not. It was high quality..i'll be back. Review #13926

This place feels like Italy. The small, informal room is so cute and cozy. The pizzas are delicious and taste like authentic italian thin-crust pizza. It's a bit pricey for what it is but definitely an experience. We sat at the bar and were able to see the whole pizza making process. The staff were very hip and cool but funny and attentive. 2 pizzas, a cheese plate and a bottle of wine came to about $60. Review #13710

Okay, I've been passing by this place for years...usually when I end up parking to go to Tommys. I think I just found my new fave pizza spot in San Francisco. The crusts are amazing and the ingredients are oh so fresh. Thoroughly enjoyed my spinich and brown butter pizza as well as the egg and pancetta pizza. They have a limited wine list, but the two glasses were well chosen. Small place but cute and cozy...and even though people have been commenting on the "tude" of the staff, they were cool beans with moi. I would definitely go back WEEKLY if they were closer to SOMA. Kicked delifinas pizzas hands down. Review #13327

yum Yum YUM. I'm in love....damn them for being so far from me. I didn't interact with the staff much but I never got the rude thing. Its a cute little spot. The pizzas are AWESOME. We had the egg & pancetta & watercress AND the spinach, sage & brown butter pizza---oh my god that was good. The crusts are perfectly thin. I'd go back in a heart beat! Review #13318

A few years ago we saw everyone piled outside of this restaurant in quiet Richmond neighborhood, and found this place. We got seated outside. Yeah, it was freezing cold... but the pizza was great. We tried to go there again several times, but the dense crowd of people discouraged us. Today we went there at 5:40. We had the great cheese salad and thin pizza inside the restaurant. They were so yummy. It was cozy and wonderful dinner. I want to try the dessert next time. Review #12990

Outstanding pizza. Best in SF (besides my friend daniel's). Very small place, get there early if you want to sit right away (5:30). One logistical problem is they don't "wait" the tables so people sit way too long to order and to pay. They could turn their tables faster if they attended to the tables(6). Oh and brings lots of cash (minimum $30 per person), it's all they accept. Great hidden Richmond location. Great staff if not overwhelmed at times (could be considered rude). Great pizza. great, interesting and fresh ingredients. My favorite reason to go to the Richmond Review #11633

if pizzetta was closer to where i live, i would go there more often, this is such a great litle sf gem of a place. the pizza by far is my favorite. not too much crust and light and thin, i can eat a whole one myself, it is pricey. if you want a nice experience there and get a bottle of wine, have two sides, and two pizzas, and a dessert, the bill can easly hike up to 80.00 but i still it is worth it, and a treat. not an everyday thing, where you are grabbing a slice. the place is cozy and there is a wait. I've been wanting to try it for a while and I finally got to go here 1/8/06. We (3) got there around 4:00 p.m. and immediately got seated inside at a rickety table. The staff was really helpful and let us sample the three red wines so we could choose a bottle. You do have to get your own silverware and stuff, but they came to the table to take our order and to deliver it. It was as good as I had read about and as good as it looked when I peeked in through the window. They used tasty cheeses and toppings (my friend had whole anchovies on hers). I love thin, thin pizza. YUM! It's a bit pricey, to be sure, but what good food in SF isn't? Review #11087

I agree that the staff looks a little too cool for school, they seem like rich kids with nothing better to do than run a fancy little boutique pizza joint. But hey, it's about the food, right? The flat bread pizzas are very tasty, they make great salads, and I had an awesome cheese plate as well. Very limited seating, so be careful. We went on a rainy night and ended up huddling under an awning until space opened up for us. Review #6871

I absolutely LOVE this place. First because it's small and cozy. Second, cuz since it's kinda' far away, not everyone and their mother knows about it. It's a mom n' pop kinda' place- you gotta make a name for yourself there---those folks who complained about the staff obviously haven't grasped the concept of the place. For once there's a place where people don't have to suck up to the customer the whole time just to get a lousy tip. If you're friendly, they are. It's simple, really. Besides all that, i just think the food rules. The artisan cheese salad is la bomb and you can never go wrong with the egga egga pizza. Oh, and that scharfenberger chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream is outta this world. Review #5559

Enoteca style Terrific, tiny, tasty. It's all good. The perfect little local hideaway that's worth driving for! I was informed about this restaurant by a regular who made me promise not to introduce it to all my friends. It's a find and it's been found. Some nights there's a 45 min wait to get in to one of the half dozen tables they have. Food is terrific. Innovative flatbread-style pizza (e.g. chicory, pancetta, shaved reggiano...), a hearty soup of the day, selection of cheeses, and a few homemade desserts that are usually awesome. Today was sharfenberger chocolate cake, a lemon tort and a freshly baked deep dish apple pie. Yum! Review #5553

fantastical neopolitan-style pizza. these folks know a thing or two about taking flour, water, and yeast and turning it into a tasty meal. a thin, delicate, crackery crust. yes indeed, pizzetta 211 is a labor of love. the place is tiny and feels like you are sitting in your friend's kitchen. be prepared to wait during peak dinner hours, but rest assured your wait will be rewarded Review #3080

Very tasty pizza and great cheeses (though a little skimpy on the portions). Wine is relatively inexpensive, but I've never been that impressed with the ones I've had. I get along with the staff, but I can understand why some might be put off by their attitude: not very California friendly, but more East Coast/take-you-or-leave-you type. It's a wait and parking can be tough, but I still think it's worth a try. Review #1318
