High hopes! It kind of depresses me to write a review for a place that I had high hopes for. I live in the hood and I've been looking forward to dining at this place for many weeks after I discovered it. I went at 5:00pm and there were only two other groups having an early dinner. The wait staff was nice and polite, but it was still early as the dining crowd had not arrived. We had the chicken and lamb skewer. The chicken was served under cooked and we sent it back. Once we tasted the chicken it lacked flavor and the onions were a bit salty. The rice, fries and hummus were all fine - I don't know of any place that can screw this up. After all they own Kan Zaman. We also had the vegetable couscous stew and it was pretty bland. The only thing we really enjoyed were the sake margaritas on the rocks. If they can just tweak the ingredients. I'll probably try this place again as I have a policy to try it three times. So if you decide to dine here - keep your expectations low maybe Review #21045

I think this is an great new addition to the neighborhood. I've had different shishkabobs and I thought they were all great. The sides were really delicious, too. We weren't very impressed with the wines and while their entrees are generous, they're consistently salty. I've had to drop to neutral upon my third visit because it wasn't a one off problem. This is a great value that I'm certain won't last. 4oz Roti with a single side is $7.50 bang for your buck I can't think of a better real sit down meal deal. The steak is like a prime rib--and absolutely delicious!! I've been at least a half a dozen times and I'm still impressed. Review #20219

A friend suggested this place as their 'go to'. I must say I was a little disappointed with the the Mousank (?) Lamb dish I had - the one in yogurt sauce. The lamb was dry, the dish flavorless, and I walked away still hungry. My partner had 3 of their skewers (veggies, salmon, and tofu) and said they were 'okay' -- my son poo-pooed everything. The outdoor patio in the back is nice. Staff is nice too. I don't know that this will be my go-to, but I might be back to try their signature rotisserie chicken. Review #20218
