“ A chain with 8 outlets from San Diego to San Jose. I've eaten at 5 of them. Probably 15 times at this Santa Clara outlet. (My ex-wife liked this place). The Food? Think Red Lobster at 2X the price. For the price hike the fish can be fresher it's not always frozen, but usually. The oysters are always fresh. The sides are boring. I order the rice pilaf as it looks better than the baked potato. Broccoli/vege medley is steamed a la Marie Callendar's, ho-hum. Decor is cookie cutter barn like, wood interior warehouse with lots of big trophy fish hanging about. Full liquor bar. Always busy, always crowded. Reports on other websites say that this outlet has gotten particularly bad recently due to poor food prep, dirty tables, listless service, wrong orders delivered, etc... Sounds like they need to fire the manager. I ate at the Irvine outlet last January. It was pretty good. So quality hinges on the location. Be wary. ”
