In terms of raw food, this restaurant has wonderful food at a reasonable price. All the dishes are great. They even have a few cooked grain dishes for dinner guests that aren't into raw food. The flavors are delicious and they are very committed to quality. Don't miss the desserts! Great food for people sensitive to dairy or grains. Review #20460

"It sure is expensive to eat healthy." That's a quote from my partner after we got the bill. We both enjoyed our meals. He had the "I am Elated" which was the enchilada - and I had the "I am Whole" - their sample plater. The pesto crostini was very good. We also ordered the "I am Thriving" - their daily soup which was a curried cauliflower. Service staff is/was very warm and inviting. The back patio is very nice to sit in. Review #20441

You have to know what you're getting yourself into before you go. If you expect big plates of meat and dairy, you're going to be disappointed. It's a healthy alternative to eating out, and it succeeds in making all of the items on the menu organic and vegan, all of which is uncooked. On that alone, I would recommend it to any vegetarian/vegan friend. However, the prices were ridiculous. I know organics cost more, but a bill for three cost over $70. That's for lunch. I won't be back unless someone else is buying. Review #19551

The dining experience should be enjoyable. And restaurant owners need to have a sense of humor, especially if they are going to require their diners to order food with names like “I Am Fabulous.” Give me a dish called “I am pissed at my boss” or “I am having a bad hair day.” Lighten up a little. C.G. just feels stilted. I tried 3 dishes there the other night with a friend and left feeling slightly nauseated and pitifully unsatisfied; it's not that the portions were small, but everything was completely unappetizing, from the presentation to the frigid temperature. “raw” food can be room temperature. It can even been heated to about 100 degrees F. So why was everything stone cold and dead-looking? The “pizza” ($10) consisted of sprouts that had been pressed into cracker formation, covered in sliced cherry tomatoes, and drizzled with two sauces. “Samosas” ($8) at least had four little blobs of zesty mint chutney, whic Review #19548

I went to Cafe Gratitude for the first time, as I've just started to explore the whole healthier side of the food world, meaning vegetables, and raw food. I was stunned to find that food could taste that good without animal products--no meat or cheese--or any of my familiars. I tried a "live pizza" the I AM PASSIONATE marinara pizza - and it was de-lish. No, it's not Dominoes, it was different and in many ways more tasty. Also tried the "I AM ACCEPTING stir-unfry - Steamed Bhutanese red rice tossed with marinated raw vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, pine nuts, teriyaki almonds, and scallions." and was pleastanly surprized by the flavor. Good food, great value, I'll be back for more. Review #16709

Cafe Gratitude is my BF's and I's favorite raw restaurant. Service is friendly and food is amazing even if you're not vegetarian/vegan you'll like it! My faves: LIVE pizzas--"I Am Sensational" which is their pesto pizza and " I Am Passionate" marinara pizza. Wednesdays is sushi & sake night--not to be missed. Their sushi is made with sunflower seed pate, avocado and cucumbers wrapped with nori seaweed! WOW! Milk shakes are to DIE for esp "I Am Eternally Blessed,”their coffee milk shake that is cold processed espresso blended with their soft serve vanilla ice cream. Last but not least is dessert which is HEAVEN! You've got to try their "I Am Cherished" strawberry/mango swirl cheesecake--live cashew cream cheesecake with almond- date crust and "I Am Awakening" key lime pie-creamy key lime custard w/ coconut meringue in a Macadamia crust! I'll definitely be returning again & again! Give Cafe Gratitude a shot you'll thank me & grateful that you did! Review #14938
