Even though this place offers you all-you-can eat. The food isn't the best. Everything tastes the same because of the boring sauce. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was fun to try. Review #17558

I can't imagine why so many people complain about reeking of BBQ, because to be quite frank, what did you think you were going to smell like once you parted from this Clement meat sanctuary? Creme brulee? There are three requirements for eating at this place: 1) an intense carnivorous appetite, and 2) a keen knowledge of fragrant sauces, and 3) a creative impulse to design your own fabulously korean meal. I've eaten here twice, and both times I found it quite enjoyable. If you aren't used to seeing mountains of raw bleeding meat (including cuts that typically make the Americans scream), you probably won't care for this place. Thought the sushi and the desserts were bland, but everything else was just peachy delicious. Review #16351

This place is fun when you come with a group of people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and get all IronCheffy. Warning: The novelty of cooking your own dish wears off after ten minutes of smoke and splattering oil. Eat fast, girls/boys/everything in between! Review #15991

It's not the greatest place to eat, but there are select items that are very good. I find that if you stick to the marinated beef, chicken and fish, you'll be satisfied. I seem to like the sauce here better than in other hot pot places. It's an inexpensive way to stuff yourself and make it "your way". Review #15959

The idea is great - I love meat, I love to cook, and I love to eat all I can eat, but this place is too much! It's really fun to throw things in boiling water & sizzling oil, and all but they offer so much that I am always way too stuffed when I leave. Perhaps Coriya Hot Pot would better suit someone with more self-control than myself. Suggestion: sit by the bean-drink bar - if you're not familiar with the concept, it's fun to see what people do with juices & beans! I will continue going back, but I can only handle it once every 4 years or so. Review #14974

The price is considered cheap because you can eat as much as you want, but how much exactly can you eat? I personally would go somewhere else that has a better food with same price. It's a good place to go, though, if you have a family in town. Review #14964

The concept is great but my stomach can't handle it. Maybe it is the mixture of all the different foods cooking together but man, I just can't go back! We have gone twice over the last couple of months, everyone in my party thought it was fabulous but I think it is not so great. Last time we went there were no veggies at the bar. All the seafood was frozen and the meat was mostly organ parts. I agree with others, your hair and close absorb all the odors and you smell like a oily kitchen for the rest of the evening. I live near here and the food is pretty decent for all you can eat $12.95 I think. It can get crowded at night. The only thing I don't like about coming here is that you're going to go home smelling like hot pot BBQ until you wash all your clothes! But I would come here again. Review #10063

I still cringe when I drive or walk by this place. I do actually enjoy cooking my own stuff....its really fun if you are with a group...creates entertainment as well---kinda why I love fondue---well that and I love cheese :) ANYWAY...so we tried it...and I have never eaten less at an all-you-can-eat place before. The meat was below sub-par. I had some veg and some chicken and I couldn't stomach much else. We left to go out for dinner afterwards if that says anything. If the food was fresh It would be a cool spot for sure. Review #7240

What I liked about this one over the one in Daly City is the smaller stations are actually nice for two, and you don't feel so on display. Makes it nice if it's just the two of you. Do the half and half if you like hot. Nice way to combat the clouds and chill. I walked out of there smelling like a fireplace, but I thought it was because I always lose track of that barbecue tray toward the end of the meal, and reduce my sauces to glowing, carbon embers. Nothing a shower and a washing machine won't fix. The food is excellent. If you're any kind of cook it is, anyway. The ingredients are fresh and higher quality than a lot of the chinese or korean that you only see finished. A great place to hone your Benihana parlor tricks. Review #7056

Lots of variety for meat like chicken, pork, beef, fish fillet, anchovies, lamb, squid, etc.. Baiscally more than enough for you to have a meaty meal, cooked by yourself of course. You can boil it or bbq it on the hot plate (the boiler is set in the center of the plate). Unlimited sauce making, rice, drinks, and desserts as well. Price is reasonale considering that it is all-you-can-eat. Pretty decent place to eat especially if you're craving for meat. Review #6953

Its so much fun walking out of a restaurant stinking of bbq essence to the very core of your being, even your hair. NOT! Food is not fresh, sushi is terrible. Only reason to come here is if you are craving tons of meat and you haven't eaten for several days. Otherwise you can smell the stink just walking by this place. Review #5856

Got sucked in their restaurant once while shopping along Clement street. Should have kept walking...food is abundent but the quality of the meat was subpar. They offer alot of options, the ingredients seem fresh, but not the highest quality. Review #5608

My taiwanese friend and I visited Coriya on a weekday for lunch. Everything was really fresh and abundant. The important thing to remember is the dipping sauce, make it yourself, don't use the house blend. My friend added a raw egg into her sauce, making it richer and even thicker. She said it was good, I agree, specially when we go, no queues. Review #4300

I am not overly thrilled with all you can eat places. Very popular, good concept {same type dinner called Shaybu Shabu in Japan} and affordable prices. Heavy on the meats, some food looks like it's been sitting there for a while. I'll pass but it can get crowded at dinner time. Review #1404
