“ BEST PASTRY BAKER IN MARIN. Fancy shop with fancy prices staffed by some of the most imperious old ladies you'll ever meet. They're polite, just humorless. Go ahead & try to make them laugh, it's impossible. I've tried and failed dozens of times.
The cakes, pastries,& the chocolate truffles are to die for! Surprisingly, the bread is not in the same league. Acme / Grace baking / Il Fornaio bread is better. Eat lunch at Cafe Z Epicerie 5 doors down, then come here for dessert. This is food heaven on earth. ”
