“ Update: November 28, 2007. New Owner, New Chef, New Menu. Gone is the french Brasserie food, new menu is Cali-fusion comfort food. "Reserve" wines list features 16 bottles priced from $145 to $400, an outlandish pandering to wealthy tourists. The regular wine list still features bottles in the $25 to $100 range. The food has lost the former magic. I raved about Cafe La Haye in 2005 & 2006. Now the food is merely competent. 2008 Zagat book gives a score of 26 points out of 30 for food. I disagree, my score is 19. Bambie & I used to love this place, we went often. After tonight's meal, I doubt that we'll ever return. ”
