Totally ridiculous (ridiculously bad, for those who were not sure). Uber-shiny and cheezy decor plus conversationblockingly-loud pounding techno made me feel like I was in a bad nightclub, which I guess it sort of is. The food is very overpriced, and tries to take classic chinese offerings and fancypantsify them for a buck. You'd be better off getting the real thing on Clement Street or in Chinatown for 1/4 the price. Some stuff was actually completely mis-prepared (way oversalted, soggy, or cold), others were stunningly boring, and some things that had huge potential (char siu bass) were interesting but could not possibly save the day. Skip it. Skip it. Skip it. Review #18246

Huge restaurant with sexy decor. But too bad the food is sub-par. Ordered a spread of appetizers and mains, but none impressive and some downright embarrassing. The Roasted Chicken was left untouched because it was way too salty. Later we learned that it mistakenly sat in the brine too long but was still served. That dish alone was a $25 mistake. Appetizers are creative in concept but some combos just didnt work. Kobe Beef Tartar, $12, presented room-temp beef and apple slivers that seemed misplaced. Many mains were straight-up classic chinese dishes, except executed poorly and for twice the normal price. For example, the Peking Duck, $38, was fatty, cold, with limp-skin. I won't be spending money on food here. But I don't think I'm the target customer either. I'd rather spend money on unpretentious, quality food prepared in a kitchen who respects food. Review #18201

This is a FABULOUS restaurant. Three words: char siu bass. It is an amazing dish and I loved everything there. May the restaurant stay open and entertain eaters with their fabulous food. Review #15035
