They even still use the original almost 100 year old brick oven. The Amaretti ai Pignoli (Pine Nut Cookie) is a little bite of heaven, buttery, not too sweet, chewy and crunchy...simply lovely. The cakes are unique and of the highest quality. They have some young cute italian guys working the counter which is a plus in my book, however they lack experience and need to be properly trained. They were backed up with people waiting to pay and pick up their orders, you'd think they had 100 customers but the reality it was only about 4. They'll improve and it's worth the wait for those little pine nut delights. Order a batch for your next party. I will. Enjoy!
