“ This Bar Boe Que restaurant is located smack dab on outer 3rd street which is now going through a pleasant resurgence. Once the rail is complete, you’ll see more places open up here. As we were Looking for a lunch place this beckoned to us because of the aroma as we drove by this old storefront. The menu is what you would expect! The BBQ ribs are slathered with the best sauce I tasted in the city. You can also pig out on a big plate of wings or a chicken half. They smoke their ribs for hours and a big slab was perfect for two people. The jambalaya was moist and spicy! The prices are extremely reasonable , service is prompt and friendly, lots of locals picking up lunch carry outs, so come early. Parking is no problem, it’s worth a try. The corn was also delicious! Recommend lunch time only.... ”
