I know this place as "Bombay Ice-Creamery." This spot is such a gem and a gift for San Francisco. My absolute favorite is Cardamon-Rose (two flavors weaved into one). My eyes pop and I start purring when I eat this. Review #18080

Reasonable prices and a very interesting array of non-standard ice cream flavors, tried honeydew and rose on my most recent trip, "one scoop" in a waffle cone is giant. definitely would go back. Review #17412

Great ice cream. I really like Suresh and his family. I just wish his indian groceries weren't so damn expensive... Review #11939

I love this place. Their homemade indian ice cream is amazing, with truly unique choices (rose, cardamom, saffron, green tea, chai etc). The rose ice cream is a little bit much, but you should ask for a samples just to see for your self. The saffron pistachio is amazing. Chai and green tea flavors are also winners. They also have prepared fast food. The samosas are amazing (I often leave with a huge bag of them) and the curries are good for a quick fix. There is also an attached market with import goods, great for indian spices and breads. Review #6065

This is the place for ice cream and little indian snacks and other (non-food) imports if you don't feel like going across the bridge to Berkeley. I haven't tried to ready made samosas and similar indian delicacies, but they remind me of the streets of Delhi where delicious doesn't necessarily equal fresh. Review #4316

You can find good indian flavored ice cream here. They have flavors here like, rose, cheese & cashew, pista. For a special treat, try the kulfi, an indian ice cream treat. They also have various chaat, or indian snacks such as samosas. Their chai is also very good. Need some basamati rice, teas or spices? You can get that stuff right next door. Review #4219
