“ In a moment of hunger before a meeting, I stopped in and tried the sesame steak & Garlic prawn satay. The steak was delicious, full of flavor. The garlic prawns seem to be missing the garlic, but they were still delicious, they even had a tasty dipping sauce. The interior is nice but a little on the dark side, my table's finish was starting to peal, the restaurant opened in 2000, and I would say it has aged well, but it might be time to freshen it up. My waiter Kamel was friendly and very knowable about the dish's, he has worked there for years, which tells me something positive about the management, overall a good experience and would return. ”

“
The atmosphere here is quite nice, got that Indo-tropical look and feel. Seems like a fun and hip place for drinks and gathering. The food was pretty good. We only tried two dishes though. We had the grilled skirt steak which was korean-style but the meat was tasty. We also had the char-siu style smoked black cod, I wouldn't order that again though as the fish was a little dry. I'm sure they have other dishes that are good so will definitely come and try other dishes. ”

“ The service on a Saturday evening was overly cheerful and really just ok. Like they were trying too hard but missing the mark. I have to say, it's tough, though, working in a place that's overrun with tourists. And it was. The Ahi Tartare was actually really good, though I wasn't crazy about the potato chips stuck in it. The Naan was like warmed pita bread, not what I was expecting, though I did like the papaya & ginger salad. I wouldn't make a huge effort to go back. ”

“ Hmmm.... I dunno. This seems like one those places where people go after work to have cocktails and talk loudly, with their volume increasing proportionally to the number of cocktails ingested. That's all fine with me, but I get the impression that the food here is an afterthought. A lot of it seems way too sweet, especially the sauce on the fish I ordered. Could be fun if you're in the right mood and with the right group of people, but probably not the spot if you're mainly looking for a great meal. ”

“ The food and atmosphere were great! The service was bad. However, we were with a group and they seated us before the whole group arrived...definite plus. It just took forever to get drinks. Once the food came though, it was really good. The corn fritters are really weird looking but they are delicious! ”

“ My friend and I enjoyed sharing a diverse collection of small plates - most were quite good - the au natural spicy prawns were a disappointment (I hate when food takes too much work to eat) - but overall it was a nice dining experience. Kinda touristy due to the location and somewhat pricey but a place worth checking out for a nice pre-theater meal. ”

“ A pretty good place for lunch, happy hour, or drinks and appetizers. A little pricey but that's the area around Union Square. The decor is fantastic and there is sometimes entertainment on the weekends (live jazz). The corn fritters and grilled ahi tuna are good. They need to re-evaluate the rest of their menu though as most of it is mediocre and does not live up to the hype. ”

“ It's a versatile place. You can go there for a date or with a group and still have a great time. I love the small plate/sharing concept here and they do a good job of bringing original flavors in interesting ways. The place is good and I go there often, but everything seems to be sliding a bit downhill since the former chef left and the renovations to the interior. I'm hopeful, though. ”

“ It's all of the things people are saying, but I like it. I like the pomegranate margarita. The apprizers are frequently more impressive than the mains. And I like checking out my chinese horoscope on the way to the restroom... ”

“ slightly overrated. Pretty good food & fun atmosphere, but i've had spotty service, and though the menu sounds fabulous the flavors are sometimes blandly disappointing. Pricey for what you get and very noisy. ”

“ E&O really needs to re-evaluate their menu. The taste is not up to par but the presentation is always a winner. Why can't they make the food taste better? I reccommend designing a new menu. ”
