this was pretty basic, boring chain stuff. neither good nor bad, just overpriced, by a lot. i had a greek salad with some chicken breast on it. lots of lettuce, a little chicken, $12. 2 spring rolls for $6. way overpriced. the wait staff was okay though. and there was no wait for a seat. Hit or miss. Last time I was there I ordered the barbwire chicken pasta and it was really boring. I usually have no problem putting away a bowl of pasta, but it was tedious getting though this one. On the other hand, I have had the spicy pork fusili pasta and it is really good (it's one of those things that can be so delicious that I'm convinced it probably causes cancer). The whole thing may depend on who is cooking in the kitchen the night you are there. Review #13097

I love their happy hour. You can get drinks and appetizers for good prices. The spring rolls and the bruschetta are must-haves...as are the various 'tinis. Review #9090

So my sweetheart from high school and I finally catch up after college and several years of real-life, and I am miserable, and she is a newlywed, and we're having an alright time here at the Embarcadero Fuzio. She's a doctor now, and I'm just jealous of it all, and I was trying my damndest to be aloof and detached, but all the while engaging, and oh my God, the freakiest longest weirdest looking hair emerges from my lunch salad, and suddenly I held the keys that might finally drive me to a lifetime of bulimia. Trying hard to keep it together, I flagged the server, presented the evidence--No sir, all my hair is quite straight and short, and am willing and able to prove it...and with that they comp...the dish. She insisted on paying before we even sat down, so I came away with half a hollow victory, and all I had to do was eat on some hairy salad for awhile. I'd give it a negative, but up to then, it was an awesome salad, and considering how busy they were, the service was on the ball. Review #7119

Very similar to Pasta Pomodoro but with a fusion twist. Service was great and attentive. The food was better than expected considering it is a chain restaurant. The calamari pasta was pretty good. Not a bad place to eat if shopping around at Embarcadero or catching a movie. Review #7096

Very decent pasta/noodle joint. Sort of a fusion alternative to Pasta Pomodoro, with asian and southwestern-inflected dishes. Try the corkscrew pasta. I would skip the calimari, it was not so hot. Good cocktails (lots of flavored martinis). Cheap. Review #7079

Great spot for some quick basic italian food. Everyone loves noodles-that’s the theory behind the Fuzio concept. This chain is sleek, efficient and pleasant. The pasta section is international: you’ll find everything from linguine & meatballs and marinara sauce to pad thai to a bowl of udon with tofu and vegetables. And here's my favorite part...dessert try the "black and white affogato," an ice cream and espresso float. What Fuzio might be deficient in personality, it makes up for in good value and wholesome food. COol place to go to just before (or after) a flick at the Embarcadero. Review #6153

I think it's a chain and it tastes like a chain. Had fusilli which was not memorable, ceasar salad was bland...can you say Pasta Promodoro's cousin? Wish I could write more, but it was obviously not memorable. Review #5603

We ate at the fuzio at the Embarcadero on a weekend afternoon. Quick and attentive service and the food was very good. I especially liked the Habanero pesto which accompanied my pork/fusilli dish (and they happily brought me more pesto as the dollop they alloted was not nearly enough). All said, a good place for dinner before or after a movie! Review #4313
