“This is a great place to bring out of town guests to. I love it here. Last Friday I brought my mom, sister and her husband here. The service was quick and really good. Food was the best I have had in quite a while. I had the mushroom steak medium well, sis had the pepperd steak, the husband had a pizza and Mom had the pesto ravioli. The food was served with soup or salad. 10/10 all around for all courses. It is also not too expensive either. The only draw back is the have live music which was too loud as it is a small restruant.

“Have only been here for breakfast. Portions are huge for the low low price. For $4.00 you can get two eggs, toast, hash browns or home fries, and a banana. Unfortunately their coffee is awful - very bitter. Place is small - not a negative. Hashbrowns are usually overcooked - or extra crispy depending on your point of view.”
“I LOVE VP&P! The food is unbelievable. The portions are huge. The menu is the biggest I have ever seen. Their "pesto" special pizza is my favorite pizza in the whole city. Good for weekend brunch. A cheese omlette with potatoes, toast, and a piece of fruit is only $3.95. I can't say enough about how much I love VP&P. You won't be disappointed!”
“comments: My friend first introduced me to this place a few years ago as what he calls it, "cheap and cheesy", and I believed that was the name of the place several times after I had been there. We continued to eat there a lot too. The lobster ravioli is really yummy and the other pasta dishes are too. It is cheap and good. Sometimes can be crowded, but we always get a seat. Convenient if you live near the Mission.”
