Good burger positive, I have had about 15 of them. Especially for 2:45 AM, its the only game in town for the area. I have had the pizza (-fail), and I recommend the hamburger ONLY. Go for the crowd and burger they open at 5pm. Its basic food for the locals that hangout late. Mike the owner is really fun and a San Francisco business staple for over thirty years in the same location how can you pass that up, its stood the test of time. Review #21302

I just moved into North Beach and I found this place because it was open until 2am. It's the typical tiny old burger joint that has kept it's consistency throughout the years. The Cheeseburger is the best! Steaming hot when you get it and not so oversized that you can't finish it. The pizza is good if it's freshly made. You can buy a medium pizza for about 8 bucks! I just wonder who Sam is? Mike is the owner. Review #19916

Totally agree. The burgers are fresh grilled to order and are fabulous. Great onion rings, too. Review #16810

Positive Cuisine: Pizza Hamburgers Chinatown
Everybody loves to disparage this place but it's actually one of my guilty pleasures. The guys who work there are unbelievably helpful/kind/cool given that it's 2am and the drunks from North Beach are fighting with the homeless people over the last remaining seat. The pizza and burgers are good and cheap - a slice of pepperoni and a coke for $3! Secret: there *is* a bathroom on site. Go through the "Office - Employees Only" door at the back and the bathroom is on the left. They leave it open for regulars. Review #16805
