Negative Yuck, this place is gross. The food was awful. There are so many better Chinese restaurants in this area, there is NO reason to visit this place. The food is cheap, but you get what you pay for. It's worse than the Chinese food you get in the mall. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, pretty basic right? Not here, it might as well been called Kung Pao canned mushrooms. Everyone seems to like this place, so maybe I went on a bad day, but I don't think I'll risk going back. Neutral Great neighborhood spot; small, intimate dining room; excellent service. I thought the menu was a bit pricey and the food a bit too salty. Positive The best features of this restaurant are the view and dining room. I felt that they were trying a bit too hard with the menu. When I read the menu I felt that most of the entrees were a bit over the top with way too many ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised however. The blend of ingredients worked & my lunch was very tasty. This is definitely a tourist trap & is very expensive. Great bar also. Review #6826 Sutro's at the Cliff House

Neutral My husband & I took our Mom's here for Mother's Day & it was not a very good choice. My husband love's eating at the counter for brunch. He's not crazy about the crowd, but thought it would be nice for a Mother's Day Brunch. Our waiter was very RUDE. Perhaps he thought we were a bunch of amateurs going out on Mother's Day, but nonetheless his attitude was unwarranted. He acted as if he was Mr. Superior and treated us like we were idiots. I ordered Halibut w/ Green beans w/ a shrimp saffron sauce (yum). When asked for bread, they said they do not have any and served us coffee cake. C'mon, if your serving hearty meals w/ sauce, don't you think someone should have remembered to order bread? Neutral I would love to give this a positive review because the food is outstanding, but the service was annoying. I visited this restaurant for brunch a few weeks ago and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was bright, the bar is great & I love the feel of sitting upstairs & looking out into the street. The server knew nothing about the food & what he did know sounded like he was reading off the menu description. We ordered ice tea & coffee & were never offered a refill. We were deserted while the server did his "side work" so he could punch out on time. Very frustrating as a patron. Review #4446 Zuni Cafe
