The neighborhood is what they call "transitioning" but once you get inside it's easy to forget your even in the city. The dim narrow bar opens up into a large dining room with honest-to-god pillars all the way up to the ceiling. Swank. The food is wonderful. I've been here with Indian food newbies and actual Indians and everyone has left happy. The menu is wide ranging, with plenty of options for both vegetarians and carnivores. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly, but the awesome food is what keeps us coming back.
