This is my absolutely favorite Korean place. I know it's not the real Korean deal but I just can't take all that Korean BBQ at those other Korean Restaurants like Brother. Their menu is simple and delicous. I always get the combination tofu soup. Their Bibimbob? is pretty good also. You have to try them, even though once I found a piece of body part hair in my sprouts. That threw me off for a while, but I can't resist their tofu so I decided to overlook it and avoid the sprouts.

Before Dragonfly opened, this place was a decent Shanghainese restaurant (owned by my friend's father). I used to visit every weekend but now since Dragonfly took over I thought I pay a visit. The decor was nice but come on.. just simply take a look at their menu and you'll see that they charge for rice?? tea?? these things should be free. I mean ok if u gonna charge like 2 bucks for that jasmine rice, which every other Chinese restaurant charge maybe 50 cents or free for lunch, at least cook it better and not just serve the same crappy kind. And tea... handpicked from China?? whatever. Just check it out but I think it's overpriced for a Vietnamese restaurant.. I think the Pho was eight bucks.. I say you goto those real Vietnamese restaurants between 19th n 20th on IRving and get yourself a real bowl of nice PHO.

K. So I didn't eat meat for two years (personal choice). When my friends wanted to dine at Cheesecake Fac.. I had to go through their never ending menu and pick out some u know, meatless entrees ( I could eat fish though). I officially declare that the following items taste like s**t.
1. Evelyn's Favorite Pasta
2. Grilled Eggplant Sandwich
3. Grilled Hawaiian Burger
4. White Chocolate Cheesecake (way too sweet)
I really think they can't make any fish taste good.

My friends and I have been going to Tsing Tao's for years, ever since we found out about their dragon beef and walnut prawns. Thought I drop in and write something about them.
The decor is nice now since they remodelled last year. Tsing Tao has free delivery w/ min. of 10 bux. They have pretty good food and the waiter / owner (Benson) is a friendly guy to talk to. Yes, their food is not that salty and pretty tasty since it's different from Cantonese Chinese food. It used to be pretty difficult finding parking , especially during rainy days but now they have this deal with the Albertsons across the street and you can park upstairs (Albertsons) for a couple of hours.
Recently they started selling crabs and BBQ pork buns. The baked BBQ buns are the BEST and their crab is not expensive at all and prepared fresh and whole (chopped into pieces) compared to the other nearby restaurants.. Give them a try, affordable and tasty are the key words for this neighborhood restaurant.
