EATing is one my of hobbies...LOL...i just LOVE to eat. My friends always ask me how can I stay so skinny and my answer is always, "It's in my genes, LOL". It can get really embarrassing sometimes though when i go out with a group of friends because I will end up eating more than they do. I've lived here for about 3 years, and I've been to so many restaurants (accompanied by my dearest boyfriend most of the time, of course), and I'm trying my best to spare some time updating my reviews. Anyhow, if any of you have any questions, don't feel hesitate to contact me, I'll be more than glad to answer. Hope my reviews will be helpful. Cheers!!!!

Negative Well, at first I gave this restaurant a positive before I found out that they added $10 into the bill without our consent. Fortunately for them that we didn't have the copy of the bill, otherwise, we would sue the s..t out of them. My husband and I left the restaurant after he signed the check that already included the tip. Yesterday, I found out that the amount they deducted was not the amount we wrote on the check. How awful was that? Was that even legal? If you're planning to dine at this restaurant, just forget it, you can save your $$$$ for some other place that has DECENT and HONEST workers. If you think the food is great because they charge so much, then you're wrong. Review #20529 Carnelian Room

Positive I love this place....my favourite dishes are: string beans, fried dumpling, and So fish. I always order the same thing every time I come here. I have tried the So noodle with soy sauce, which was also good. I saw other people ordered the salt & pepper chicken wings, I probably try that dish next time I come. Review #18778 So Restaurant

Positive This place was packed when we went there. Since there were only two of us, we got a table before other people who came earlier than us did. The service is very fast in comparison to some dim sum place I've been to. They bring the cart to your table constantly. I like the dim sum as well. The only thing I dont like is the chili paste. They need to create their own chili paste like most dim sum place. Review #17441 King Wah Restaurant

Positive Never heard about this place until my bf and I were walking around looking for a place for lunch. It's a very spacy, cozy place. They have huge boards of menu on the wall. I had a crepe called San Francisco crepe, which comes with potato, and green salad. It was pretty good. The egg benedict my bf was having was good. Positive I love fine dining, and this is one of my favourites fine restaurants. My bf and I were planning to have a fun night out to celebrate a special occassion, but he didn't tell me that he booked the reservation at this restaurant. Good thing I was all dressed up that night, coz you definitely have to look stunning to dine at this kind of places. And I think he had to book it couple weeks in advance. I can only remember the names of the ones I really like, that are Calamari Yemesta, Prawns with feta, beets with garlic...yummy. Negative There was a line when my friend and I got there (not because the restaurant was full but because the hostess was very slow in sitting people), after about 5 minutes, the lines were gone, and we were the only one who were standing in front of the hostess desk. We were standing right in front of her nose and she was completely ignoring us; she was acting like she was busy but come on...the restaurant was empty and there were many many many empty seats. The reason she ignored us could be because we are "different" from the rest of the visitors which is sooo not cool. Anyhow, I would never go back there ever again. Positive I'm not an oyster lover but I love seafood, so I like this place. You MUST make a reservation if you want to come during weekends. On weekdays, you can always walk in. They have extra seats by the oster bar but you might not like to sit there as it could get really smokey. Though I don't really eat oyster, the BBQ oyster was really good. Negative I kinda did have a bad experience with that place. I used to go there a lot for lunch during school break and I always ordered the teriyaki combos, those were good, no doubt. However, I decided one day to try their Nigiri, it was beyond my imagination, the fish were not fresh at all, some of them were put in the microwave. The wasabi tasted awful. I was too shocked to give any complains so I just paid the bill and took off without finishing the meal. Maybe I just had a bad luck that day but dont ever order Nigiri during lunch time. There were 2 girls standing at the front, doing nothing and totally ignoring us, we were standing there literally minutes before we had to ask for a table...let me repeat, we had to ask for a table, they didn't ask us first like any other normal good hostess would do. Positive Went there to celebrate my birthday and I just love this restaurant, older style yet very elegant, the view is unbelievable as the restaurant is located at the top of the hill. Everything i ordered was delicious. If you'd like a quiet romantic dinner, then you should try this place out. They also have a patio where you can enjoy the view after the dinner. Positive I love Korean food, especially the barbeque. You might not want to dress so nice though to come to this place as you will smell bad once you leave. It's really smokey inside. However, the food is excellent, so as long as you dont plan to go anywhere else after the dinner, then its all good. Review #12146 Brother's Korean Restaurant

Positive There are only few Indonesian restaurants in the city and this is actually one of the ones i really like. It's a family owned restaurant and the service is friendly. I love gado-gado, the traditional salad from Indonesia, its made of fresh vegetables with peanut sauce. If you have never been to Indonesian restaurant before and dont know what to get, you can always ask the waitress for some recommendation. Review #12145 Bamboo Village
