If you like Thai, this is a must. Not your typical hole in the wall family restaurant. This place is decked out with beautiful decor. It is a little pricier, but well worth it. They have a great drink menu. The food presentation is really cool. I had the duck curry and it was served in a pineapple, and ohhhh sooo good.

There is a reason this place has a line out the door all the time, it is delicious. I reccomend the superstar shrimp and crispy chicken. If you like samosas try the samosa soup, it is unbelievable!

After living in North Beach for 5 years I finally tried this place to see what all the hype was about. I have to admit it is pretty stinkin good. The Nanking sesame chicken was melt in your mouth yummy. The crispy rice shrimp was good too. Portions were generous and the price reasonable.

I am a big fan of the Hawaiian cuisine, and this place is pretty good. It's not Roy's, but it has a quaint atmosphere. Always packed on the weekends for the live music. Good tropical cocktails and the pulled pork rocks. I recommend the pork and cheese fries!

I love this place. If you like sushi, this is as fresh as it gets. A great little hole in the wall fish market with a Sushi setup in the back. There are a couple tables set up for eating in. It is inexpensive and simply served fish, but the freshness can't be beat. My personal favorites are the mackeral and salmon.

I actully really liked this place. The waterfront atmosphere is great and because it is set back from the rest of Pier 39, it isn't as touristy. The staff is really friendly, and you can sit at the bar while you wait for a table. I had a seafood pasta dish, and the portion of fish was more than generous. The flavors were good, but not gourmet. So if you are looking for some classic SF seafood dishes with a nice atmosphere this is the place.

I love a good pizza and this place rocks! The cornmeal crust was perfect, and there was no skimping on the toppings. Lots of cheese and a yummy sauce. If you don't mind spending a couple extra bucks for some quality pizza, this is your joint!

Although, the decor was pretty cute, the food left a little to be desired. The chicken satay, was lacking flavor, and the peanut sauce was bland. The mango prawns were ok. I had high expectations after reading reviews, and expected it to be awesome. I am not sure what makes this place so special.

Although I thought the prices were a bit steep, I actually enjoyed my Roman pizza. I had the smoked salmon with arugulla and thought the crust really made it a nice light meal.

I wasn't all that impressed with the quality of food. We had the calamari to start and the veal chop pasta. The quantities were generous but taste was just average.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of burger for the price. The burger was not overcooked and came out medium rare. Toppings were fresh and generous. I had the avocado burger and thought it was great. Only complaint was that the burger was so thick it was hard to bite into.

I won a free meal to Soluna and had an overall good experience. The service was a little slow considering the volume. The rosemary halibut was rather bland aside from the rosemary infusion. However, the scallops and pork loin were really good and cooked almost perfectly.

Awesome find! Kind of a whack location, but the food is YumYum. Very cute atmosphere inside with pretty murals on the walls. I have eaten here twice and both times the food was great. The beef biriani and lamb tikka were melt in your mouth good.

This is my favorite Thai place in the city. The food is great, and the owner is very efficient about making sure people get a table (maybe a little pushy by somes standards). The prices are totally reasonable. My favorites on the menu are the shrimp in a blanket, Hormok on Fri. nights, and all the curries are fabulous. Their Thai ice teas are the best I have had. I tried the store at 9th and Irving, but this one is better.

If you are looking for a new dining experience this is a hands on restaurant. Dishes are served family style over injera (a pancake like bread). It is not too pricy, and although it might not look like a ton of food on your platter you will be stuffed to the max. Watch out for over doing it on the injera, it expands in your stomach.

This is a salad joint, so no guarantees on the sandwiches. The portions are very big and the greens and toppings are nice and fresh. And I am loving the flank steak on top. Great value.

A nice twist on the the typical Mission cuisine. The service was slow and the bathroom could be nicer, but the food couldn't have been better. The papusas were awesome and I highly recommend the crab enchilladas. A cute and trendy atmosphere with a reasonably priced menu. I would definitely go back for seconds!
