Positive Had lunch at this Peruvian restaurant and it is definitely a great place to have a meal. Of course, we could not pass on trying the cerviche and thats a good thing because it was fantastic. Large portion and extremely tasty! Tried a lamb chop appetizer and it was also excellent and not to be missed. Another dish was a grilled and skewered shrimp dish. The shrimp were of a good size, but unfortunately the kitchen overcooked them by a large margin so this dish was only fair. Don't pass on the outstanding deserts offered here. We were pretty stuffed, but decided to try one and it was definitely worthwhile. The triple chocolate mousse was simply delicious and oh so good. Service was excellent and the restaurant decor is interesting and quite nice. Three out of four dishes were exceptional so we will be dining in this Peruvian restaurant again. Review #16404 Mochica

Positive A wonderful restaurant. My wife and I think that this place is better than the renown French Laundry. The menu is somewhat limited, but everything we had was just plain delicious! Absolutely outstanding! Service was extremely accommodating, but not stuffy like some places. Surroundings were nice without being super fancy. Yes it is expensive, but I think worth the price for the special experience. Consider it for your next special occasion. Review #16366 La Toque

Positive We had a very nice dinner at Hana Sushi Bang last night. Tried a variety of items such as the monkfish liver appetizer which my wife really loved . I ordered a spicy tuna roll for my appetizer and it was excellent. My entree was the Unagi ( BBQ Eel ) and it was very tasty. My meal also came with the usual soup and a salad both of which were fine. My wife had a bento dinner that came with tempura, salmon steak, chicken katsu, salad and soup all of which were very good. For desert we had some Japanese style ice cream that I though might be rather strange but actually was quite good. The restaurant also provides a tasty fruit plate to diners upon completion of their meal. The service was excellent and frankly the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very clean and pleasant in appearance. All in all a nice little restaurant for anyone in the area to visit and enjoy some good Japanese food. Review #16330 Hana Sushi Bang

Positive We tried this Vietnamese restaurant for the first time earlier this week. Both of us had versions of combination rice plates and found them to be quite good. The beef and shrimp portions were especially tasty. This restaurant has a large menu which lists many soups and plenty of different rice and specialty dishes. Overall this is a clean looking restaurant with good service and good food. Review #14570 Kim Son

Positive Have eaten lunch and dinner here a couple of times. On our latest visit I had Unagi over rice. The Unagi ( BBQ fresh water eel ) was excellent . My wife had a mixed tempura meal that she liked. On a prior visit we had lunch and we both had box lunches that were, we thought , a little above average in quality and fairly inexpensive. The service here is efficient and the atmosphere nice for enjoying a meal. Not really a go out of your way to get to restaurant , it is a good choice if you are in the area and looking for a Japanese food fix. Review #14546 Miyabi

Positive My wife ordered the Ultimate Vegan Grill and thought it was good, but not great. I had the BBQ ribs which were excellent although I must say the piled up food was rather hard to cut on such a full plate. Both of us agree , however that we will be returning to this restaurant which although perhaps not perfect is quite interesting and seems to beg a return visit. Review #14529 Q Restaurant

Positive Enjoyed lunch here with a good meal. We had one bowl of the excellent pho soup and also tried a dish described in the menu as garlic fried black tiger prawns . This shrimp dish was excellent and came with garlic noodles which were outstanding . Could not resist trying one of the menu items listed under Hanoi Street Cuisine - Banh Seo which is a kind of stuffed pancake. The stuffing consisted of shrimp, pork and soy sprouts and was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and the atmosphere conductive to a good meal. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will certainly return. Review #14512 Bodega Bistro

Positive Enjoyed a good meal here today for lunch. I had a special which was a grilled shrimp in a tasty sauce along with some black beans. Excellent. My wife ordered the poc-chuc which is marinated char broiled pork and although slightly overcooked it was delicious with a very good grilled flavor. With our meal we were served tortillas and some chips with a couple of salsas. Overall a nice experience. Service was friendly and fast. Review #11418 Mi Lindo Yucatan

Positive The Lucky River Restaurant is my favorite Chinese restaurant. It offers a large selection of inexpensive to reasonably priced menu items and they usually are delicious. One of my favorite items is the clams in black bean sauce with fresh crab in a ginger and scallion sauce a close second. Fresh lobster and live fish are also frequently available. Whether you order dishes to share or just the inexpensive rice plates I believe you will enjoy your meal. Review #11403 Lucky River Restaurant

Positive This restaurant is a Cantonese style Chinese place. It is fairly large and serves a large variety of Chinese dishes. Prices are generally in the inexpensive to reasonable range. Some fresh seafood is usually offered such as crabs and shrimp. Service is good. A group of us had lunch a few days ago and ordered clams in black bean sauce, steamed sand dab, crab in a ginger and green onion sauce, green beans in a spicy sauce , and half of a steamed salted baked chicken. All of these dishes were excellent. A large bowl of house soup was also served with the meal. My only complaint would be that the restaurant was a bit chilly. Neutral Tried this restaurant for lunch ,but was not overly impressed. We ate clams in black bean sauce and fish fillets in a lemon sauce. Both were ok although the portion size of the fish dish seemed a little small for the price. Service was fine and the restaurant looks clean. Positive This chinese restaurant does a lot of take out orders, but it also serves good food to those who want to eat here. Four of us had dinner and the place was busy for a Sunday night. We ordered a steamed fish plate and a plate of Hong Sing's fish special - which is a lightly fried fish in a vinegary sauce and green beens with shrimp. All were excellent. Also had a couple of their char su bao -Chinese bread with a pork filling. These are huge compared to most of those you see and very good. My wife and I have had lunch many times at this restaurant and would recommend the various soups which are quite good. Service here is always good and the place clean. Positive Decided to try this place out for lunch yesterday. Its a restaurant and bakery combination so you can have some bakery items with your meal. We decided to just have some rice plates. I ordered rock cod fillets with vegetables. This comes out with nice pieces of rock cod fillets in a ginger and green onion sauce with vegetables. It was very good. My wife ordered rock cod fillets with creamed corn which was also good but we both agreed that my dish was superior. Service here was fine and the prices are low. Nothing fancy but if you just want some inexpensive Chinese food that is pretty good and or want some bakery items its a good bet. Review #11018 Golden Chariot Bakery & Restaurant

Negative Tried this place yesterday. It was fairly busy so it looked like a good bet. I ordered filet of rock cod with cream corn over rice. What I got was fried fish (mostly batter and not much fish as far as I could tell) in a corn sauce over rice. The corn sauce was not too bad , but the fried fish was awful. My meal also came with sweetened ice tea with lemon- in a Chinese restaurant? - actually you could alternatively have tea with milk. My wife ordered wonton soup that was edible, but rather strange tasting according to her. Tasted it and could not disagree. Service was fine here , but the food just didn't cut it for us. With all the other customers in here there must be something tasty but I don't plan on finding out what. Review #10988 Jook N Fun

Positive Tried this place out for the first time a couple of days ago. I ordered a dish with barbecued pork and shrimp. It came in a large soup bowl and was excellent. The barbecued pork was especially good. My wife had a bowl of Duck soup which she was pleased to have ordered. The guy taking the orders was friendly and was also doing all the cooking. Positive This is a busy place with lots of takeout orders going out. Four of us had lunch here today and we all thought the food was pretty good. I ordered the seafood mix which comes with some fried shrimp, fried mahi mahi, and teriyaki chicken along with rice and macaroni salad. All of it was tasty if not exactly exciting. I think the fish was the best item - very tender and juicy even though it was fried. One question I have is how did macaroni salad become associated with Hawaiian food. Lived in Hawaii for about 11 years and I don't recall anything about macaroni salad - maybe its just my memory playing tricks on me. My other companions ordered chicken teriyaki and kalbi ribs. The kalbi ribs were good - yea I tasted one - but you only get three with the meal. All of the food is served in takeout boxes or plates. The restaurant looked clean and the workers were friendly and helpful. If you are looking for inexpensive Hawaiian style food this place is a good bet. Review #10703 Ono Hawaiian BBQ

Positive Seems like a nice place to me. My wife and I go to better Italian restaurants, but this one is relatively inexpensive and for most items pretty good. One item I love is the black mussels which is an appetizer, but is plenty large enough for my lunch. I also enjoy the ravioli di zucca. The spinach salad is my wife's favorite item and it is quite good and large. We like the atmosphere and the service is fine. Good place for basic Italian food and reasonable prices. Positive We had dinner here tonight. It was a busy place thats for sure and it was our waiter's first night, but even so he did a good job. To start off we both had soup with mine being a squash soup that was excellent. My wife ordered a mushroom cappuccino that is actually served in a large cup and it is fabulous. It was so good my wife ordered the mushroom cappuccino for dessert later on! The waiter gave us a strange look thats for sure. For my entree I had the filet of beef which was quite good. Her entree was something called a Texas Wild Boar Chop which with such a strange description was actually very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice and as mentioned before the service is good. Nothing super exciting here - except maybe the mushroom cappuccino- but it is a good restaurant. Positive Wing Hing is a Chinese restaurant that my wife and I have eaten at many times. We had lunch here again a couple of days ago. This is a Hong Kong style BBQ place. The menu has a good selection of basic Chinese dishes, but the restaurant really shines with its Chinese barbecue items such as duck, pork, chicken, and ribs. This day we enjoyed a fresh crab with scallions and ginger and it was delicious. We also had the house soup -which comes with your meal- and a rice plate with steamed chicken and roast pork which were both excellent. Service is ok here with the prices being inexpensive and the food good. My favorite BBQ items are the Chinese style roast pork and pork ribs. Review #10638 Wing Hing Restaurant

Positive Well this is a different style Chinese restaurant and very good too. We ordered a dish called sour green sliced fish in warm pot which truly sounds a bit wierd, but turned out to be excellent, if you like sour. We both did and egads the "small" bowl will feed two people easily. Another dish we tried was the peking beef pie. All I can say is you have got to order one of these. It's great. We also had the hot braised tofu and man was it hot! Good too. A dish we tried previously at this restaurant called fried salmon with special sauce which I admit doesn't sound all that great is actually wonderful when available. One dish I would not recommend is called hot braised lamb-rib. Too strange for us I guess. Many customers at this restaurant order the hot pot which does not appear in english on the menu but, is I believe listed in chinese. Looks good and is probably a lot of fun. Must try it sometime. Positive My wife and I had lunch here and really enjoyed the staff and food. Its kind of a quiet little restaurant with an interesting menu. I choose a salmon curry with accompaniment's for my dish. It was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. The nan bread that came with the meal was outstanding and all the side dishes were also good. My wife ordered tandori salmon - yes it was a fishy kinda day for us - and it was outrageously good. Positive Visited this restaurant/bar in the mission district for lunch. Pretty quiet the day we were here. Inside the place looks mostly like a bar, but is nicely decorated. Service was fast and friendly. The menu is not large, but has a variety of items including some Irish favorites. I ordered a distinctly non Irish item -a quesadilla which turned out to be excellent. Actually one of the better versions that I have had. Also enjoyed a nice Harp (Irish) beer. My wife had french onion soup that was ok and some fish and chips. The chips were nothing to get thrilled about, but the fish was very nice. Nice light batter and excellent flavor. If you are in the area a reasonable place to stop by for a drink or a meal. Positive Surprisingly good food here. Not the best location in town but not too bad for lunch at least. My wife and I had lunch here today and it really has some different style Mexican food. I had the Poc Chuc which is charbroiled pork marinated in Yucatecan spices. Hey this dish was really tasty. The pork had a wonderfull grilled flavor. My wife had the Cochinita Pibil which is roasted pork marinated in achiote seeds sauce. Her dish was also excellent and wow they serve up a large portion of meat with this dish. Two people could easily feast on this. Meals come with chips and salsas which are all good although watch out for the habanero salsa -its hot! Positive Have just recently had lunch here with a few companions. Its a nice little restaurant and has a pretty outside dining area where since it was such a nice day we ate lunch. I had the soup of the day which was a spinach cream soup with a touch of saffron and it was quite good. Especially with the excellent French bread that is placed on every table. Then had a grilled chicken sandwich which I must admit does not sound all that great but guess what - it was great! Really moist and good. French fries and a small salad came with my sandwich. My wife had a beef short ribs dish which she thought was good and her sister tried the mussels which were prepared in the traditional French style and were excellent. The chicken is delicious and comes with salad , bread and a side. We had the hummus as a side and it was very good. Positive Lunch at this little place is great. Many people seem to come here for breakfast and all kinds of coffee drinks and desserts, but we had lunch. I tried the norwegian smoked salmon sandwich. It's a big sandwich available on a number of different kinds of bread and comes with a mixed salad of greens. The sandwich was delicious. Could not resist ordering a slice of apple pie which when served was huge and outstanding! My wife had the herb roasted leg of lamb sandwich which she loved. Positive Have been here a couple of times including today for lunch. Ordered tandoori fish and prawn vindaloo. The tandoori fish is excellent. You get two large salmon chunks that are somewhat blackened on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The prawn vindaloo was also quite nice with large tender shrimp. Neutral Dinner here can be a rather lonely experience since we were the only people eating at about 6:30 pm although the bar was fairly busy. I ordered the steak fajitas which was ok, but not terribly tasty. My wife got a paella which had shrimp, squid, chicken, and clams. She thought it was pretty good although the chicken was way overcooked. We also ate in this restaurant a few months ago. On that occasion the food was pretty bad. We both had the valenciano's creation from the grill which comes with grilled steak, baby back ribs, prawns and some chicken. With the exception of the baby back ribs everything was overcooked and difficult to chew and swallow. Positive My what a beautiful view you get in this restaurant which is located on the 36th floor. Pick a nice day and perhaps sit in the lounge for awhile and then have lunch or dinner. We had lunch yesterday and both of us ordered the seafood louie which is really excellent here. Plenty of crab and three large shrimp along with the mixed in greens and a superior sauce. The rest of the lunch menu is fairly limited, but looks good. Even without the view the seafood louie is worth going for. Positive This is an interesting restaurant with very good food. I started off with some squash/pumpkin soup that was very tasty and not too heavy. My wife had the chicken liver mousse that she really enjoyed. It came with a nice little salad and some toast. My entree was the bevette steak. It was seared just right on the outside and was juicy and flavorful on the inside. Outstanding! It was served with a mix of yukon potatoes and small onions along with some spinach. She had the coffee-rubbed pork shoulder which she liked although we both agreed that the steak was the best. For dessert tried the souffle. Excellent. This is a cheese souffle that comes out very light and is served with strawberries in a spiced sauce. The restaurant has a modern style and look to it with the rear dining room being the nicest to my mind. Service here was perfect. By the time we finished our meal the restaurant was full of people. Positive Enjoyed lunch here today. Not jammed with customers ,but still busy on this holiday. Tandori Shrimp was the first dish we received and it was done just right! Cooked but still juicy and tender with excellent flavor. We also had some Rice which was good and a Nan which was hot and fresh and quite delicious. Another dish was Tandori Lamb Chops which was good ,but not as good as the shrimp. Fairly spicy too. For a curry we had the Chicken Tika Masala which had a tasty sauce although the chicken itself seemed rather tasteless. Overall a good meal at a an inexpensive price. The self service part of gathering plates and utensil's and water does not faze us in the slightest. Positive Four of us had lunch here today. We chose to sit on the patio which was quite nice. My wife had Califlower soup which she said was good. The rest of us split an order of House Smoked Salmon which came on toast and on top of a salad - excellent. My entree was the Parisian Gnocchi baked with Mushrooms and Bechamel Sauce which I found to be delicious. My wife tried the Coq Au Vin and found it to be rather dry and not that tasty. Another entree tried was the Mussels which proved to be very nice and the French Fries that came with it were also excellent. Grilled Salmon on Mashed Potatoes was decent although I questioned the gravy served on top of the mashed potatoes as being somewhat less than truly French. For desert two of us had the Apple Tarte Tatin which was liked by all. I tried the Chocolate Walnut Cake with Ice Cream and found it to be very good. Very intense chocolate flavor. Positive The food at this restaurant is very French and very good too. We started off the evening with some appetizers. I had the Ravioli's which were excellent and had a delicious sauce that was sopped up with some handy French bread. My wife had a crab and shrimp salad that she really enjoyed. My entree was a special of the night - Filet Mignon - and it was fabulous! It was served with Au Gratin potatoes and some vegetables all of which were excellent. Lamb Chops were my wife's choice and they were also outstanding. Done just right and very tasty. She had some nicely prepared spinach with her meal. For dessert I ordered a Mouse of some sort that was frankly pretty tasteless. My wife had had the French Toast here before and she ordered that again and it was delicious - yes I stole a bite or two of it. Service throughout the evening was exemplary. Positive This is a rather cute looking neighborhood restaurant that is usually not too busy. I ordered the meat Lasagna dinner which comes with a small salad or soup. Salad was my choice this night and it was very good. The Lasagna is good sized with an excellent Marinara sauce. I have had it before and love it. My wife ordered Cannelloni and soup. Her soup was mushroom and although ok it was nothing special. The Cannelloni she liked. I tasted it and it was good but my Lasagna was better. Friendly service and nice surrounding make a meal here nice and pleasant. Have not tried the pizza's yet. If you are in the neighborhood give this place a try. Review #9474 Caffe Cozzolino

Positive Three of us had dinner here Friday night. I had the Da Big Kahuna (Pupus) as my meal since it is plenty large enough for a meal. Comes with Coco Mac prawns, Tita's drumettes, Teriyaki beef sticks, and Won tons. The Teriyake sticks and Praws were excellent and the drumettes and won tons pretty tasty. My two companions both had Khal Bi Pork Ribs -and I had one -which were cooked just right and are delicious. Some fried Taro root that accompanied one of the Pork rib dishes was highly lackluster. The other sides were ok. For desert we had the Malasadas (donuts) which were great and not to be missed. The last friday of each month is Lau lau night where various Hawaiian specials along with live music are offered. Service was exempleary and the staff very friendly. Definitely a place to visit again. Review #9441 Tita's hale 'aina

Positive A Traditional restaurant is how I would describe Sam's Grill. A nice one too. Our dinner tonight was excellent. I had the Crab Louie which I love. Plenty of crab with a tasty sauce over a bed of shredded lettuce. Of course the Sour Dough bread is a must with the Crab Louie. My wife had a Crab Curry which is not listed on the menu, but can be had by simply asking. She enjoyed it although the rice it came with was a little subpar. We have been to Sam's Grill many times over the years and we have always enjoyed it. Really good food in an old fashioned setting. Most of the menu is seafood with lots of choices, but steaks and other items are offered. Review #9373 Sam's Grill & Seafood Restaurant

Positive Three of us had lunch here last weekend. My original review somehow did not get posted - probably my fault. This restaurant is located in a tourist mecca, however the food is pretty good in my opinion. I had the Shrimp Combo Fest which consists of grilled shrimp, shrimp scampi, and fried shrimp. All were excellent and came with boiled new potatoes and some coleslaw. My wife had the Fried Shrimp which came with french fries. She liked her meal. My wife's sister had the Fish and Chips which came with three large pieces of fish and french fries. I tasted some of her fish and it was good although a little overdone. The service here was fast and efficient and many of the tables offer a nice view of the harbor. Overall I think you can do much worse very easily at Pier 39. Review #9343 Pier Market Seafood

Neutral We dined here last night before attending a show . The restaurant was quite busy and according to our waiter two waiter's short. Our poor waiter was running around like crazy trying to do everything - the tables, bread, water, the bar, and act as hostess. He tried hard but it was impossible. We waited about 20 minutes to get some water although we did get some bread shortly after we were seated. A shrimp cocktail was my starter and it was indeed very good with nice firm large shrimp and a tasty cocktail sauce. Had a steak for dinner and that was also excellent and came with green beans and french fries. For desert had the chocolate bread pudding which was ok. My wife had stuffed shrimp for an appetizer, however the shrimp were overcooked and quite salty. For dinner she had the halibut. Her halibut was on the tiny side -maybe three ounces, and badly overcooked. She had spinach with the halibut which was ok. So my meal was good and hers not so good. Thus a neutral rating. Positive We tried this restaurant for the first time this past weekend. We ordered some "snack" dishes ie like small plates or Dim Sum. Had a Chinese donut which was served nice and hot. Also tried a Scallion pancake which was actually ok but rather doughy. Sticky Rice Cake with Pork was our favorite dish. Very tasty to say the least. Fried Squid Balls were also very good even if it does sound strange. One dish the Steamed Goose Meat was just fair but somewhat tough and I would not recommend it to most diners. Another dish Drunken Chicken was quite good and very tender. We intend to visit this restaurant again. Review #9299 Taste of Formosa

Positive Enjoyed lunch here today. I ordered a smoked salmon and anchovy pizza that was delicious. Perhaps not everyone would like the salmon and anchovy combination but try some of the other pizza's. My wife had Osso Bucco which was also good. The meat was tender and quite tasty. All in all we had a good meal. We have eaten at this restaurant perhaps half a dozen times in the past few years and actually have usually had good to excellent food. Positive My wife and I have eaten here more than a dozen times and we lunched here today. It is one of our favorite restaurants for crab. We usually order the dinner for two. That comes with some imperial rolls, chicken salad, roasted crab, garlic noodles, and fried banana with ice cream. Instead of the roasted crab we usually get the crab in curry sauce. We always love it! The chicken salad is good as are the imperial rolls and the garlic noodles are excellent. The fried banana is not that great and the ice cream is just ok. I think the service is excellent. Price wise the crab meals are not inexpensive, but the quality of the crabs we have had is excellent - large crabs cooked just right so that the meat is juicy and tender. We have noticed that a lot of customers here order the Vietnamese soups and seem to enjoy them, but we have not tried their soups. Review #9226 PPQ Dungeness Island

Positive Tried this restaurant for the first time. My wife usually prefers Cantonese style Chinese restaurants, but she liked this particular Shanghai style one. We had a dish called Pinenuts with Fish filet which was an ample portion of nicely done fish in a tomato based sauce. Very tasty and tender. The table next to us saw our dish and asked us what it was so they too could order it. Also had the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (vegetarian) which had better flavor than most versions we have tried of this dish. A Shanghai dish - Shanghai Style Crispy Salt Pancake was different and excellent. Its a version of the Chinese green onion pancake. Tried an order of Shanghai steamed dumplings. You get 10 nice sized dumplings, but we did not enjoy these as much as we hoped. Too different I guess. Service here was good with good sized portions. Place looks clean with nice tables and is inexpensive. We plan on returning here to try out some of the other Shanghai style dishes. Review #9217 Shanghai Dumpling Shop

Neutral Had lunch here today and found it to be ok but nothing great. Fish curry was mediocre and not a lot of fish for a $9.99 dish. On the other hand the chicken korma was quite nice with very good flavor. Bengun Bhartha -eggplant was rather bland and not that good. A beautiful big hot naan was excellent and the rice was fine. My wife was a bit upset when she sighted a c***roach running about on the wall next to us. To me it looked to be a fairly clean restaurant. Review #9179 Naan 'n Chutney

Positive My wife and I had an anniversary dinner here last night. I started off with a half dozen oysters which were delicious and then had an appetizer of grilled sardines wrapped in Italian bacon. These sardines were very tasty. My wife had the lobster bisque soup which she liked and then some scallops which she also enjoyed. A small tasting of some excellent tomato type soup was then brought out to us. My entree was the steak (the only non seafood item in the list of entrees) and it was great! Done perfectly and just really tasty. She had some kind of fish called wreckfish (a type of bass) which I have never heard of. She thought that this dish was excellent and with the taste I had of it I would agree. My desert was concord grape pie and it was perfect. If you like concord grapes then you must try this. She had the cream brulee which I tasted and it was very good. Overall this was an outstanding meal, although not cheap. Service was excellent. We are looking forward to eating here again. Positive We really like this restaurant and tonight I had a couple of nice "Social Dishes", ie appetizers for dinner. For most people two appetizers is more than enough here. Tried the Lemon Crusted Calamari which is a little unusual, but quite tasty. Finished off my meal with the Shaved Steak Salad which is almost a meal in itself - ah yes very good indeed. My wife had the Dungeness Crab Wontons which are always excellent and the Sesame Shrimp which are awesome (my favorite). This is the third time we have dined at this restaurant and we have been impressed each time. Try the Roasted Chicken "Mac'N'Cheese" for an entree and you won't be sorry. I also enjoyed the Tenderloin Satay on a previous visit. Give this place a try. Review #9072 Sauce

Positive A little slow on bringing out our food, but the order taker explained that they had just taken a lot of take out orders just before we came in. Looked like he was right too. Ordered tandoori Fish which is frankly just plain delicious. Also tried the Prawn masala which was ok but relatively mild and slightly bland. My Nan came out super fresh and hot and was great. A plate of rice was quite good. The restaurant gives you a small salad with your meal. Overall a good restaurant with quality food and low prices. Review #9033 Chutney

Positive Tried this Italian (Contemporary Italian Cuisine according to their sign) restaurant for lunch today. Very quiet with no one else having lunch while we were there. I had rolled stuffed peppers which were good and a seafood pizza that was outstanding. Really very nice. My wife had a seafood soup that was both interesting and unusual and fairly good. After the soup she had a couple of crab cakes that she thought were pretty good. Service was fast and efficient. Will have to give the dinner menu a try one of these days. Positive We visited this restaurant for lunch today. Ordered the Duck curry which was delicious and contained a lot of good quality duck meat. Also ordered a sauteed duck dish that was quite spicy and tasty. A nice quiet little restaurant with good food and friendly service. This place seems to do a lot of takeout orders. Positive Visited this restaurant for the first time with some of our neighbors. For a Thursday night the place was pretty busy with the service a little slow although quite friendly. I had the Soup di Poissons which was actually quite good. It had a couple of nice pieces of fish and some nice large shrimp along with some squid and mussels and clams. The clams must have been added at the very end of the cooking process as none of the three were quite open and when I pried one open it was undercooked. Still overall a nice dish. My wife had the beef stew which was excellent. Our neighbors had the halibut and the red snapper dishes which they both said were good. Had a chocolate desert (like a chocolate ooze) that was ok but nothing too great. Will have to try this place again. Review #9013 La Provence
