Came here for dinner recently and I really liked it. Loved the decor of it also. We tried the Tuna Tower, it's like a tuna tartar. Lots of tuna served with fried wonton chips and wasabi sauce. We also tried the garlic noodle with chicken. LOTS of garlic, make sure you bring gum with you. Lemon grass beef was also another entree. I liked it but didn't love it. A little over cooked for my taste. Served with frites in a little Chinese take out box, really cute. For dessert, I tried the White lava cake. It took forever for them to give me my order, about 20 min, without letting me know it takes that long, but when it came out, it looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Will go and try other dishes that I saw other people order.

So I was early for work and decided to come and try out their cakes. There wasn't a lot that caught my eyes so I just went with the chocolate cream cake. It was good but nothing special. I would say it's pretty expensive though. I also bought a bag of peanut butter cookies. Those were really good but was also expensive for a bag of cookies ($5)

Loved it! Amazing food and excellent service. Definitely try the Japanese yellowtail. The best I've had. The shaking beef lives up to all the hype it gets from other reviews. Flank steak was wonderful and creme brulee with creamy goodness. Our waiter, Robert, was the best waiter ever! Will definitely go again.

So I came here for my graduation dinner yesterday, and I must say it was worth $44.95.. The selection of meat was huge.. My favorite would be the prime rib, lamb chop, and pork encrusted with Parmesan cheese.. There's also a mini buffet selection but I would recommend to take less from the buffet and save room for the meat.. you'll need it.. The service couldn't of been better.

Love the cupcakes here. Came here when I had a really bad day and after eating a cupcake, I felt better. My friend and I bought $40 worth of cupcakes (not only for us) but all of them look so delicious but I went for the passion fruit filled cupcake... Topped with so much frosting, just the way I like them, and the cake was so moist.. Yummy!! Not to mention I love how they present there cupcakes in the glass case... just like jewelries

First time trying mediterranean and glad it was here. The food was great and service was great. I tried the Middle Eastern Plate (pomegranate, chicken cilicia, and levant sandwich. The chicken was flavorful and tender, chicken cilicia was not overly sweet and really crisp fillo. But my favorite dish was the hummos with pita chips as our appetizer. First time eating hummos and now I'm obsessed with it. Really good. Will definitely go again and try more things

I've grown to love Indian cuisine more and more, it's one of my favorites now. Usually I would go Naan and Curry but I wanted to try something different. I passed by Shalimar plenty of times and see lots of people there so I decided that this is my next Indian restaurant to try. Thankfully the food was really good. I like any chicken dishes but I went for my usual chicken tikka masala.. tasty sauce and juicy chicken.. Loved it.. With the Naan and that made my night.. Did I mention that it was super cheap? Well it is! So try it out..

Thanks to SFSurvey, I got to try out Triptych.. The restaurant was easy to find and parking was not a problem. The place is a little small, felt a little claustrophobic. maybe it's because there was a dinner party in there too? Anyways, we started with the ravioli which was really good, loved the fried artichoke that came on top. Then the waiter brought us bread with a feta cheese dip thing.. not sure exactly what it was but it was really good. For entree, I had the steak and my friend had th salmon. The steak was good but the salmon was a little too dry. Dessert was yummy. We had the molten chocolate cake and an espresso mousse cake. Service was a little slow for us and another table. We had to go up to ask for a check after waiting 15 minutes after letting them know we're ready for the check, the same for the other people that was dining there. Other then that, the service was really friendly.

The ribs were good, came right off the bone and I got to try a little brisket from my friends plate which was also really good. Cornbread was good but the mac and cheese needs a little work.. It was us to be $5.95, then around $6 something and now it's $7.50? Way too much and it wasn't as good as I remembered it. Free appetizer dishes and great Korean food. The price wasn't that expensive. There are a lot of Korean restaurants that are more expensive. The seabass jjim was really god. Try it. It gets packed at night time especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

I ordered the lamb shish kebab. It wasn't really as good as I thought it would be and since it was so packed I expected a lot but my sandwich wrap thing had almost no meat inside.. probably two small kebabs with lots of lettuce. and it was cold... After hearing SOOO much about this place and how long the lines cane get.. I know I had to try it out myself since I LOVE sweets! I was actually disappointed with mine. Maybe because the cream puff was not fresh out of the oven so I will try it again and ask if I could possibly get one out from the oven.. And I also thought they don't fill it till you order it? Well people are wrong because I while I was standing in line, they were filling a lot of them up when the line wasn't even long... So when I ordered mine, they gave me the ones that had already been filled. The vanilla pastry cream was good but my puff part of the dessert got soggy from being filled before I even ordered it. All in all.. I expected more from Beard Papa but will try the other flavors that are coming soon.

Had dinner here yesterday and it was quite tasty. I had the ribeye steak which was good and it came with rice, two fried eggs, fries, sweet plantains, and mushroom and onion. The plate was HUGE! I didn't really like the fact that the fries was soaked on the sauce (which is a tad bit on the oily side) but I guess that's how they do it? We also had the Crab Cake with mango sauce which was nice. The service was on the verrrrry slow side but when the waiter got around in giving us water and taking our order, he was nice.

The burger was cooked nicely, I though it was better than the one on Cole st., and since I haven't had a milkshake for over 3 years and finally decided to share one, it was really good. Although the fries I had was flavorless but the curly fries that my friend had and which I ate some of, was really good.

Just got back from diner here and like my first time, I really enjoyed my meal. This time I had the pork chop with empanadas as an appetizer.. The empanadas was good but a bit too oily but it's fried so it's understandable. But my pork chop was really good... It was huge! If you love Vietnamese rice plates (Com Dia) then this place is a MUST! The servings they serve is enormous for the price. They have over 61 different orders. From 7 different items on a plate with a load of their special rice to just 1-2 items... up to you on what you want on your plate. There's Vietnamese style broiled meat ball, fried shrimp cake, shredded pork, egg cake, bbq shrimp, and grilled shrimp on sugar cane on a plate or all those plus your choice of meat. Choices range from bbq pork, bbq pork chop, bbq chicken, bbq beef, and bbq beef ribs. All are good.. They also serve vermicelli noodles and for a dessert drink, try the Che Xuong Xa Hat Luu. ( jelly and tapioca with coconut milk) Service can be a little off but I still end up coming here whenever I go to San Jose.

New Chinese restaurant.. It use to be another dim sum restaurant but that one closed down. Anyways, so I just got back from dim sum and it was a little over OK. There was WAY too much steamed buns and baked buns and not enough of the other dim sum items... The service was nice and price is reasonable.. Every time I eat dim sum I have to try their Baked egg custard bun, my favorite, and the one they served here was really good. You could taste the real egg yolk flavor.. Really good.

I love coming here for their Banh Cuon (flour sheet roll with ground pork and it comes with shrimp tempura, but I always ask dor the shrimp tempura with green bean instead.. One of the best fish and chips I've had. Their menu offers fried items like fried items like shrimp, scallops, salmon, snapper, and Halibut! I got the Mate's order, which is a two piece Halibut for $8.59. Definitely worth $8.59. The fish was amazingly good. Fresh thick cut and the batter was a thin coating, which leaves it super crunchy. There was a lot of choices on the menu but I just went for the original Barney's Burger with cheese and half a basket of curly fries. I got stuffed eating just half my burger and half my fries. The burger was great. Although my bun was a little soggy from the juice of the burger but it was still yummy. The fries was good too. A half basket could definitely feed two people.

Went here for lunch and it was pretty good. The place is small and they have friendly service. It wasn't too expensive. They have a lunch bento for $5.99 which you get to chose two item and comes with soup and salad. I had the salmon teriyaki and tempura. We also ordered the King Kong roll which is soft shell crab and unagi and spicy tuna. Pretty good. But the super dragon roll was better. Shrimp tempura and crab wrapped in soy bean paper. DELICIOUS.

Good ice cream! I got to try the taro and sesame. Both were delicious. Lots of different flavors, so if you have a difficult time choosing one, let them know and they'll spin the wheel and choose one for you. If it lands on a "free" you get your ice cream FREE!

Food is great! As always I got the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong (BBQ Pork with egg roll on vermicelli) Unlike most places, they give TWO egg rolls instead of one and it tasted like it was freshly fried and the pork was juicy and tender. HUGE bowl too. ($6.95) I couldn't even finish it. It was a friendly place and was pretty busy too.

I live near here and the food is pretty decent for all you can eat $12.95 I think. It can get crowded at night. The only thing I don't like about coming here is that you're going to go home smelling like hot pot BBQ until you wash all your clothes! But I would come here again.

I never really wanted to go in here every time I passed by this place but when I found out they had the baked pineapple custard bun, I had to go. The baked pineapple bun was decent but I think the custard is "different" from others. The color was totally not custard like. But it wasn't bad. KOI Palace has better ones.

Came here after Moki's Sushi with my sister and it was 7:00 PM. It wasn't totally packed but we still had to take a number. It was my first time here and there were many flavors to choose from and I had trouble choosing one so I got to different ones. I tried the Buko (baby coconut) very delicious! I also tried the pumpkin ice cream because it's almost Halloween! It was definitely good but not as good as the one I had at the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival. My sis had the rocky road sundae which was also wonderful. All the calories was definitely worth it and I would come here again and and again until I have tried all of their many many flavors!

Tonight was my first time coming here and I thought besides one negative thing it was all pretty good. We had ordered the Ahi mango spring roll with ginger lime sauce. This dish was the negative part, although it tasted pretty good the second time, but the first time it was brought out and I took my first bite, I found a piece of hair in it. But we got another one after which we had to pay for. We also ordered the Puerto Vallarta roll which was their special and it came with tempura shrimp, avocado, and tuna on top.It was pretty good but really soft. Then there was the Golden Gate roll, our fav.It had tuna inside and on top with green onion & tobiko. Last there was the Ecstasy roll because of the reviews. It had tuna avocado, tobiko, binco and green onion and tempura fried. It wasn't as good as the reviews had made it seemed. The waitress and waiter was friendly but was slow to give us our check and I didn't even get a tea refill!

Wasn't the best sushi I've ever had. We tried the Dragon roll, Lion King roll, and Rainbow roll. The dragon roll was like any other dragon roll but the Lion King roll (California roll topped with baked salmon and cheese) was not so good. It was stuck to the foil it came on and once I picked it up and tried to put it in my mouth, it just ALL fell apart! The rainbow roll only came with tuna and hamachi which other places offer it with salmon, avocado, and shrimp. But I thought the service was good. The waitress was really friendly and always made sure our hot tea was filled.

Just got back from a dinner here and it was fabulous! Cheap sushi and pretty tasty too. We had tried the Godzilla roll, Energy Roll, Futo Maki roll, and Sashimi Chef Choice. The Godzilla roll had soft shell crab, crab meat, avocado and cucumber and was topped with unagi. This was not as good as the energy roll because once I picked it up it fell apart. The Energy roll had ahi tuna, mango, tobiko, and unagi in it. This was tasty and I had never tried this kind of roll before. You can really taste the mango in it. Really good service here too. I would come here again.

Had lunch here today and we tried the smoked chicken calzoni, lasagna style calzoni, and the combo pizza rustica. The smoked chicken was stuffed with artichoke hearts, ricotta cheese, oven roasted tomatoes, and of course chicken. Not enough chicken but it was decent. The Lasagna style calzoni was pretty good toO. It was stuffed with bolognese sauce, mozzarella, coteghino sausage, mushrooms, and ricotta. The combo rustica had sausage, mushroom eggplant, onions, bolognese sauce, and mozzarella. This was also good but a little too oily for my taste. I think I would come again just to try their burger because it looks really good. As for their service, the waitress we had seemed to have an attitude or was just having a horrible day.

This place is so nice and the food is good. We tried the Fire Cracker Balls which is a MUST!! It was served on a plate with three kinds of sauce and was delicious. Then we had the Sunset strip which was OK nothing special. We also had the Red Caterpillar roll and Cherry Blossom roll which was also delicious. The fish was fresh too.. The price was OK. It was not cheap not expensive. I guess the price is average. I would definitely go again and try their Hot Mama Roll and their Cannon Ball Roll. The service was pretty good too.

Should also order the Anh Hong egg rolls and shrimp on sugarcane.. really yummy.. comes with rice paper, lettuce, carrots and cucumber, and fish sauce.. Sourdough bread.. delicious...yorkshire pudding..delicious..the prime rib steak was so gigantic I tried to finish it but couldn't... and sometimes the kitchen staff brings out a basket and passes out their fresh baked corn bread and those were extremely yummy!!!!! We also ordered one of their cheesecake for chocolate cheesecake and it was so damn good I just couldn't leave without finishing it.. so i did and I couldn't even get up and walk anymore.. felt like my stomach was about to EXPLODE!! but worth it.. Dined here yesterday night and it was great! I didn't really like the soup but everything else made up for it. I tried the skirt steak and my friend tried the Miso Chicken. The skirt steak was good but the Miso Chicken was FABULOUS!! For dessert you must try the Sumi Sundae and the pineapple upside down cake.. both came with vanilla ice cream which was a plus. The sundae was warm and was drizzled with caramel and was topped with walnuts and whipped cream. Like always I finished my WHOLE sundae!! Good place to go have dinner with a date or friend. Great service.
