We had a great dining experience. We sat at the Captains table (and we were only a party of 4) to apologize for the wait which was hardly noticeable despite my long day of traveling. We ordered many plates for the table to get a taste of everything Myth had to offer. The pasta with cantrells were a hit at the table. I really enjoyed the beef cheeks as they were tender and perfectly delicious. The pomme frites were outstanding. The pork chop was juicy and perfectly seasoned. We also indulged in one of the brick oven pizzas with prawn and I think I remember a little brawl for the last piece between my friends at the table. We carried along our own wine to save a little money and left fat, happy and will be back.

For all the great breakfast joints in the city this is mediocore. I was looking forward to mind blowing bacon and it was floppy and greasy. Save yourself for Mamas or Dotties.

The black bean cakes are heavenly. Go early to avoid lines or take friends from out of town to enjoy the smells of the tenderloin and some hot tea while you wait in line. Get a pastry as an appetizer, it is worth it.

Great people. That is how this place stays so busy. The family runs a tight ship and has a regular customer base. I always see people walk in for take out and they don’t even have to place the order the owners just know. The food is consistently good but the service sells itself.

I went in for a margarita the other day on a hot Sunday afternoon and thought it was below average. It is really too bad, we are screaming for a great taqueria or Mexican food restaurant in the neighborhood.

Lovely. Perfect place to sit outside, people watch and enjoy great, fresh, flavorful antipastos. The eggplant and the calamari are great to start with. Nice flavors with nothing too overpowering. Great balance. We enjoyed the fennel sausage pizza with the Tari which is reasonably priced for the taste.

It is a bit crowded for a relaxing night on the town, but a great place to go with friends. Share appetizers for the table and then a couple of the main courses. Wine list is reasonable.

I tend to avoid it unless I feel like getting hit on by Pacific Heights men. The wait staff is beautiful, but not so knowledgeable. Ben is a great bartender for daytime drinking he makes a great bloody mary.

Im from Texas, the place where we overdo the mexican food with places like Taco Cabana, and I love it. This place was the first place that reminded me of home. Big portions, great selection of tequilas and friendly service. Do it for lunch you will beat the crowd.

The perfect way to spend an afternoon. The ambiance is delightful. The staff is friendly and loves to join the party. If you want a particular oyster (like the tasty Kumamoto)reserve them with your reservation and the staff will put some aside for you. The hogwash barbecued oysters wash down nicely with a Gewurztraminer or a crisp Sauvignon Blanc.

When I first moved here it was in my repertoire. Now that I get it, it has been phased out. The oysters leave a lot to be desired. You get the best service at the bar, so if you have to go there with your tourist friends, sit at the bar, drink a bloody may and have an appetizer then move along.

You know I almost ate here the other day because I know it is consistently decent, but then I remembered I dont live in Austin anymore and I changed my mind. Why eat at this chain when you know there is a tempting restaurant right around the corner that you have never eaten at that has more to offer your tastebuds for $100.00.

Zuni is one of those places in San Francisco that you always have in your back pocket, you know when your friends are in from the burbs and no one can make up their mind, just say Zuni and everyone agrees. The wait staff is consistently knowledgeable and friendly and usually up for a shot of fernet to wash down the fresh pacific oysters, chicken for two (which everyone should have once) or of course the burger that you write home about.
