We sat outside at a table in the patio area on a gorgeous afternoon. We were lucky as we had no reservations. Everything we ordered was beautifully plated and tasted so fresh. I had the seasonal and very tasty heirloom tomato salad with melon. Then the Rib eye which was delicious. The wine list was great and the staff were knowledgeable. Looking forward to going again and perhaps stay at the hotel. They have a tiny pool.

We walked in at 8pm and the place was packed on a Wednesday night, but we managed to get a table after 5 or 10 minutes. Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. Although the menu choices were on the small side, I took it as a good sign that all was being prepared fresh and at it's best. Spinach pasta with bay shrimp was so rich and creamy, although I did crunch on a bit of sand. ehh. House Cabernet was tasty. Friendly service. Reasonable prices too. Will go back again.

I was so excited to order delivery from here as they have such a diverse menu.
I actually over ordered as everything looked so good. But sadly, the pad thai came burnt; I'm talkin' black pieces of cubed tofu and the whole dish just smelled burnt. I can't believe they served it. It should have gone in the trash! The squid curry was ok, the thai soup was the best, probably the only thing I will ever order from here.

Not good. Vegetable cannelloni pasta shells were undercooked and still hard!! yuk! Duck confit was so dried out it was like eating rope. Mussels were OK. Creme brulee was the pits. Was made in a very shallow wide dish so the creme was warm and slimy and there was to much sugar on the top. Won't bother going back if I have too.

Had such a great time here! Went to a birthday dinner held in the upstairs dining area. We had a 4 course meal. Started with an heirloom tomato salad, then an incredible pasta dish with buttery sole. Service was friendly and the prices were really surprisingly reasonable. Can't wait to go again.

A great Thai take-out place where the food was really tasty and the prices were so reasonable. The Tom Yum Gung was spicy but so good I couldn't stop eating it. The rest of the dishes were not too spicy; we asked for medium, but they were very flavorful. Chicken Panang was tasty. Pad Thai was good, but a bit too dry. Everything was prepared perfect, in their own special way. Definitely a special occasion type of place. I think it is a popular business luncheon place, but it is also great for Dad's birthday or a unique romantic dinner. The place is decorated very formal and the lighting is so minimal that it truly IS hard to even read the menu. Staff is very festive, friendly and fast. One of the servers brought us out half a dozen of awesome oysters as a thank you for waiting jesture. We ordered 2 dozen when we sat down. I loved the fish in a parchment. Radicchio salad was huge and yummy. Service was friendly and on top of it. Friend had the steak which was so huge and tender and yummy. Scallops were delicious. Tiramisu comes in a huge round bowl! But after getting over that and getting into the groove, I really enjoyed the layed back, neighborhood feel for the place. In fact, I forgot how much I missed places like these. Casual in every way. Listening to The Clash, eating tasty fried chicken, smoky collard greens, black eyed peas, and sweet and creamy grits, so fun! Red Stripe Tall boys, fun too. Corn bread needs some help. Cole Slaw was way too heavy. The brussel sprouts were sadly coated in a burnt sugar flavored molasses sauce. Service was really friendly and prompt. Will go back.

We took a friend visiting from out of town here. Another fiasco night. The waiter was very nice and paid for our first round of drinks because the food took soooo long. Duck with noodles I thought was tasty, but our guest said it was OK. My starter beet salad had an overly sweet dressing, crab cakes were standard. Baby back ribs smelled like they were the cause of a kitchen fire which filled the whole second floor of the restaurant with smoke where we were seated. The seared ahi I tried was really good though. Creme brulee was large but average.

Not even the worst service in the world could keep me away from this place. Even after the waitress poured my cabernet into my water glass. When I pointed it out, she asked if I minded and poured it from the water to the wine glass right at the table. Even when they brought out our main entrees before we were finished with our second, (made room and left it on the table) I think I did actually have them bring back one as there was no room left on the table to lift my glass. Even when we overheard the table complaining next to us that they had received only two entrees while the other 2 waited for them, for a very long time. They said they would never come back. The bartender had to help out as they were understaffed that night. Still, the food was fantastic and I feel so bad for the chef to have had such a worse than Burger King staff represent him.

Had such a nice dinner here with a friend. The corn chips were really crunchy and the salsa is like super smoky, chipotle pepper sauce which gets hotter the more you eat. We shared 3 papusas, red pepper, shrimp and chicken. They come stacked and sliced up hot, filled with melted cheese and drizzled with colorful and tasty sauces. The most expensive one goes for $2.50! Park diagonally across the street at the mini parking lot. Go early to get the best table with the best view, although there are many, but they go fast. We ordered the oysters to start which were topped with a little dab of Osetra caviar. Over the top delicious. Instead of serving the standard vinaigrette with the oysters, they served a white wine sorbet which was floral and refreshing. Verbena vinaigrette on fresh greens was delightful.
Peppered Ahi tuna dish was small but very tasty. Highly recommend the seared scallops that were huge and incredibly mouthwatering. Lamb was OK, but the little scalloped potato tart was yummy. Desserts are all fabulous and have a nice creative twist to them. Go for the food and enjoy the fantastic views. Service could be a bit warmer.

Had 1/2 dozen REALLY tasty oysters to start. Had the hearts of romaine lettuce with blue cheese vinaigrette and radishes, which I though they put way too much dressing/vinegar on. The portion was a good size. As a main I ordered the slow cooked halibut with melted fennel, fingerling potatoes, bacon and black olive tapenade. I thought this dish sounded great on paper, but it was an odd mix after tasting. The fish is so delicate and light that the tapenade is way too overpowering. Fingerling potatoes were 4 1/2 inch slivers. Really nice decor and not too noisy (for a Tuesday night) considering we sat up front near the bar area. Great cocktail menu. I was really impressed by Nate's BBQ. Beef Brisket is really tender and smoky and I love the option of the two different BBQ sauces. I always get a side of HOT. Chicken and ribs were tasty too. And they have these cute little sweet potato pies. I have never eaten there though, I always get it take out.

Creative atmosphere, creative dishes, beautifully presented and prepared. Intimate feel regardless of the contemporary industrial look. I had the smoked quail which was a tasty surprise. One thing I did share was a squid dish which didn't seem to be as successful as the other dishes we shared. This will not stop me from coming back!

Freshest, cleanest, brightest Mexican restaurant I have ever seen, but I love it. The garlic shrimp dish is the best thing on the menu, sauteed with fresh mushrooms and green onions. Chips and salsa are not bad either. Burritos are OK but I have had better. Can be loud as it is a place where families bring the kids, people come with large groups.

Way overpriced, sauce soaked average quality Chinese food. Somewhat of an 80's atmosphere. Impersonal service. I will never go back if I don't have to. Band sounded like they just finished a set on a discount cruise ship. So did the crappy sound system. Painfully bad.

Fantastic pizza! The place is easy to miss with it's grey exterior that continues into the interior. But the mood warms up with the sounds of Bowie and colorful, fresh, tasty and original food. I had a really nice syrah by the glass. Organic mixed greens salad topped with gorgonzola was filling and flavorful. But when I took my first bite of a large Little Star signature pizza...WOW! I fell in love! Place is a little dark, table did wobble but the weird thing is that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. Luckily we pooled enough cash together and didn't have to use the in house ATM machine.

I went here with my husband and my parents. 3 burgers, 1 fish an chips.
I was really impressed with the food! Burgers were totally yummy. I think they were niman ranch and also seasoned which made the burgers very flavorful. Fresh red ripe tomatoes, caramelized onions and a choice of 5 different cheeses for that cheese burger. I went with the blue cheese. Fries/chips were hot, fresh and tasty. Fish was light and fresh too! There was an Irish folk band playing while we ate a late dinner and it felt very relaxing, festive and fun. Very friendly service.

I had higher expectations for this place. I work in the neighborhood and was looking forward to a new place to go to for lunch. This place needs to decide what it is/wants to be as it lacks a sense of identity in decor as well as menu selection. Trying to please everyone, (not that I was pleased) with their run of the mill burger or lame chicken quesadilla just isn't going to prompt me to visit again.

Nice surprise this place. Really impressed with the quality of food as well as the prices. They have taken there own spin on cheesesteaks and you can actually feel healthy when eating one. They also have an impressive selection for vegetarians and vegans (although I am not sure if they clean the grill for diehards). Fries are great too!

A girlfriend and I dined here after window shopping. Had a nice Pinot Noir. They brought us a fresh baked bread knot that was yummy. The baked goat cheese was amazing. Lamb chops with lavender salt was superb. Delicious gnocchi was in a velvety cream sauce. Prompt service without a smile or even eye contact.
I do actually like the small plates as I didn't have the opportunity to over eat., which I tend to do too often.

I hate to admit it but I like the food here. The chips are light and crisp and fresh. Salsa is so flavorful and tasty. Love the sweet corn mash you get with almost every entree. Was craving Italian food. We tried this place as we were in the neighborhood. Very friendly staff. They serve fresh baked and still warm focaccia bread which was good. I started with the Mozzarella tomato salad. Tomatoes seemed like they were the wrong type to use. Were similar to a beefsteak slice that was under ripe and flavorless. Not enough vinegar either.
A friend had the lobster ravioli, which was rich and pretty good. I had a spicy penne dish with olives, which was OK. My husband had a seafood pasta dish which was OK. They had some nice wines on their wine list. Overall I thought that the dishes could have been better. They looked good, but taste and ingredients used was lacking.

We went here on a whim when in the neighborhood. Was seated right away. We got a really nice table. They brought us sparkling water in a pitcher with a slice of orange. I would have been over the top impressed if the pitcher wasn't plastic. But it was still nice. Then they brought out this really yummy bread with a spicy red dipping sauce that I couldn't stop eating. I think it was roasted pepper, tomato, garlic, olive oil. We shared a large Caesar salad that was very tasty (lots of anchovy flavor in the dressing which I love). I ordered the pumpkin ravioli in butter sauce. Was really good, but not fabulous. My husband ordered the fresh linguini with seafood which was very tasty. Nice, spicy red sauce. Had decent wines by the glass as well but didn't see the expected chianti (which my husband likes). Manager or owner, not sure, came over to our table to check if everything was alright. He seemed very attentive and cared about his restaurant.

Decided to give this place another try. Ugh, why did I bother.
The maitre d' couldn't find our reservation. Looked at me like I was lieing to him. After he went to check and see if he could do us a "favor" and squeeze us in, I saw my cell number next to an illegible scribble on the reservations sheet. I pointed it out to him and he shrugged and grabbed 2 menus and seated us. No apology or anything. I was going to leave except I was hungry. We ordered a dozen oysters which tasted warm and nasty. They said they were fanny bays, but I am not sure about that. My husband ordered the Jambalaya, which looked more like rice-a-roni, with re-hydrated shrimp. I ordered the grill combo, of ribs, chicken and Andouille sausage. Had to ask for more BBQ sauce as it was dry. Swamp pie was ok. Place feels like a dump trying to be full of character that it actually lacks.

Impressive. We went earlier in the evening so it was just starting to fill up. (Which I think is the best time to go and check out a new restaurant as you get the most attentive service and it's not too busy and loud) Nice presentation on all of the dishes.
The Soup of the day, Shrimp tomato bisque, was amazing. Creamy and spicy. Classic Ceviche dish was delicious. Tangy flavors of grapefruit juice. I had a dish with shrimp and potatoes(can't remember the name) The sauce was flavorful but I thought it needed a bit more spice to it. Desert sounded fabulous on paper but seemed a bit small, pricey and not as fab. Filled pastry puff, with home made ice cream caramel and kiwi puree. Fun dining experience over all.

Like the design and decor. Has an open space feeling that actually feels kinda cozy. Best burgers and fries I have had, anywhere. Service a little impersonal.
Over all I love this place...except for a recent visit for brunch. Got a Bloody Mary and my favorite bleu cheese burger and fries. The Bloody Mary was THE worst I have EVER had. Think the bartender was WAY OFF! Missed 3/4 of the ingredients. Tasted like it was made at an IHOP. My burger was raw on the inside and black on the outside. NOT GOOD!!
Seems like the whole staff shoulda called in sick with their hangovers and just shut the place down for the day.

I know they want the place to look full, but I was freezing that day and didn't want to feel a chilling draft thoughout my meal. Next couple after us got a cozy seat near the kitchen.
