$78.00 for a five course pre fixe!!!!!!!!!!! I'll start there if you are going to charge 78.00 without wine, tip, ect............you have better be doing something right. The amuse was a End Piece of Endive ( Mostly brown ), with a beet puree and a tiny piece of goat chesse that tasted like chalk. It was complete gross. Than my partner the vegetarian asked if there was other menu options the server suggested Mushroom soup ( with duck), Butter Lettuce Salad, and a veg plate.......( Not a great dining experience for her.) Back to me. I had the mushroom soup, which was very bland and basic. The scallop where very disappointing, four words" Liquid grainy potato sauce" I love sweet breads but at La Terrasse the sweet bread should be missed the morel's mushrooms served with the sweet breads where rubbery and boiled. I could go on but that would just be mean. Cute place but just not going in the right directions. For this kinda money there are far better places..........find them!

Well I tried the front porch, and I have to say what a disappointment. We had the bucket of Chicken which was over cook dry and tasteless. The corn bread tasted very old and stale. Crab and grits was very disappointing as well,.under seasoned mainly. The service was good, but the food was just bad. The funniest part was the box wine selection, but at least they know there guest base..................its the mission. I kinda reminded me of Dairy Queen with the plastic baskets.

We love Al, Sandy, and Richard. This place is fun the staff is fun, the room and out door patio is fun. But the food is lost in time. Often its over cooked and flavorless. The presentation looks as if its just tossed an a plate. Go here for a c***tail and great live music not for the food. Never go for the food.

The gummy bears and cookies are the best part of the meal as well as the lovely parm cheese at the start. In between that your on your own. We ate here last week my partner had the cippaino which had a layer of oil on the top reviling a Exxon oil spill she ate very little. I had the spag. with meat sauce the sauce was bad a I felt sick soon after eating here.
The service was absent most of the time he to was eating his diner and did not want to be disturbed.

Up date: 5/4/06 I have now been contacted by the WONDERFUL TALENTED CHEF BEN PAULA, who's only recourse to his BLAND food is to personally attack this user by emailing me several choice words for me.
Dear CHEF,
I'm not the chef of soluna but I do work in a restaurant and your food and service are horrible. You lack talent, skill, and a palate. Please work on YOUR craft.
Nothing need be said" this place is just bad." From the bar to the dining room the service is rude, forgetful, unwelcoming. On one of the three nights my friend and I dined at sauce the " Chef Ben Paula'" graced us with his presents. When we expressed our concerned about our meal he promptly sounded off we with his long list of accomplishments. He may have be a good chef before but at sauce he is a big miss. Stay away, save your money, Forget about it. I will not go in to the details but I can say with some certainty I shall not be returning ever. I suggest you do the same.

The only think good about this place was the yucca fries. The stuffed ( Can) roasted red peppers with quinoa, balsamic glaze and pea sprouts. Are heavy, cold left overs that you think is a great idea until you bite in to the milly, uncooked grainy texture. The burnt corn muffin was un eatable. The tuna ceviche with mango, red onion, cilantro, avocado and LIME!!!! Which was the only thing you could taste was un eatable as well. It was so bad the acid from the lime burnt my mouth. And last but equally unmemorable was the truffled heart of palm salad just bad. Nothing was seasoned, nothing came together. Service was equally as poor, we saw him once during the entire meal. Great looking room.....is that enough. For $80.00 for two just a bad restaurant.
