I liked Cafe Claude. I was taken there on my first day of work, and I found it to be a very comfortable place. The service was good, the food was good and the prices weren't bad. This is a great place for business lunches.

Soluna is a very hip restaurant! Because it is located in the heart of the Civic Center, you would never know such a delightful restauant excists! My dining experience was excellent! We started the meal by ordering glass of wine and an appetizer- fresh figs-a pure pleasure to my palate! For the main entree I had the organic chicken served with feta polenta.
The food, service, and ambiance are top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant! Also, parking is easy to find during the week.

Huge servings! I had the Classico salad and it was 3 meals in 1! Very tasty dressing, goat cheese, dressing, and candied walnuts! Lots of food for a cheap price. The crepes don't look traditional, but I definitely want to try one.

comments: It was packed in here, but a lot of fun. I enjoyed chicken with cheese and procuitto ham, very tasty. The restauant is unique and has a lot of authentic italian flavor. It does remind me of a restauant that I went to in Naples.

comments: If you are with a large group and are drinking, this is a boiserous place to enjoy the evening. The food is served family style in huge portions. The quality is chain restaurant quality, but decent. The mozerella cheese plate is good. Drink lots of wine here. Brucetta is good here.

comments: Sophisticated and elegant place located on the waterfront in San Francisco. I have eaten here three times and have never been disappointed. The view is incredible! The seafood is wonderful...salmon is great, the clam chowder is really good, not the best, but a close second. The salads are good and the desserts are too. Excellent service and great wine selection.

comments: I was treated royally to this place by a nice friend. We sat upstairs and enjoyed all sorts of dim sum. It was my first time eating dim sum and it was sooo good. The service was excellent and the room was really full for the lunch hour. Good lighting in the restaurant and lots of dim sum waiters were walking around serving whatever we wanted. I went with a regular of the restaurant and he bought, so it was great.

comments: One ice cream sundae in the summertime sounds great, huh? I split one with my boyfriend and looked at the nutritional value online later. Try roughly 900 calories!!! Just think of the fries and hamburgers' calories added to that! I can't believe that a restaurant can be allowed to sell this type of food! Yes, it is yummie. Johnny Rockets is a fun place because it is decked out in the fifties style, and the juke box is a fun thing! It is never too crowded in here either...just fatty. Beware.

comments: Yummie food. We ordered gnocchi, the nicoise salad, and scallops, along with some red wine. The food is fantastic, but the portions are so small...there were two of us eating here and we had to order more than just one plate a piece. Our waiter was not really friendly, he kind of threw our drinks to us, however the service was alright (prompt). It was just too pricey. We ordered the scallop dinner for $12 and when 2 scallops arrived on the plate, I almost said, "two scallops?!!". The bread was really good because it had walnuts in it. I probably won't go back here to eat.

comments: Who could say anything bad about this place? Definately a chick place, don't bring your man. I went to a small bridal shower there, about 6 guests were invited. The little biscuits, scones, and desserts were so tasty. I dream of coming back to this place. The tea variety is so large; we drank so much tea!!! We sat in the front window on the seats with the pillow cushions. The place is absolutely charming. I would love to go there again.

comments: My friend first introduced me to this place a few years ago as what he calls it, "cheap and cheesy", and I believed that was the name of the place several times after I had been there. We continued to eat there a lot too. The lobster ravioli is really yummy and the other pasta dishes are too. It is cheap and good. Sometimes can be crowded, but we always get a seat. Convenient if you live near the Mission.

comments: I liked this place a lot. The crepes were fantastic. We did have to wait for a few minutes for a place to sit. Sitting at the bar was fun. The breeze blowing in from the door that kept opening and closing which I found annoying. My crepe was excellent. I didn't pay for the meal, but think it might have been expensive. Didn't like walking through the Mission to get there. Be sure and get dessert and coffee too!

comments: If you want to wait in line for 30 minutes for some food, wait in front of the House of Nanking! Last time I stood in that line, the Brandy Ho owner kept pushing all 20 of us to move away from his door! Felt sorry for the man. The food at House of Nanking is good. I like the Seasame Chicken, and surprisingly, the fish dish with eggplant! Mr. Fong, the owner/order taker, runs a tight ship!

comments: The Grove is an excellent place to hang out for a coffee or a beer. The food isn't that great if you are there to dine only, but not bad either. The mexican dish was greasy, stay away from it if you are watching your weight. The beer selection is good. The desserts look yummy, I tried a cookie. The fire is a nice touch. Love the atmosphere at the Grove and I feel creatively inspired there. Reminds me of a lodge at Crater Lake, Oregon.

comments Great burritos! Great meat in the burritos (no fat pieces). Lines can get long, so don't go right around 6pm during the week when it is raining. Their salsa is my favorite in the city because it has chunky tomatoes, cilantro, and onions. Fast food mexican style!
